a poem about never getting better.

Im uncomfortable
Because my enemy has a name
She shouts down the hallways
Begging for attention
That I'll never give her

Her emotions are untouchable
Sometimes as buzzing atoms
No rest
And sometimes as lifeless rocks
Hardly moving

That's the worst part
Constant sway
Hard waves to soft ones
All filled with glass
Cutting me open consistently

Yes there are days
Where the tidal waves lay down low
But on these days
All I can do
Is fear the next time
She decides to shout down the hallways
Begging for attention
That I'll never give her
