Chains around my ankles
Key in my mouth
Why do I stay
When I know I can get out?
The chains aren't comfortable
But they keep me down to earth
When my heads in the clouds
And my bodies in a hearse
And life is a curse
Giving you bruises to poke
I've been here for years
Life's watching me choke
Mostly on words
And mostly on mine
Thinking it's my fault
When we run out of time
And time is of the essence
In which I have none
Simply put I am nothing
But a body to call home
Full of pills I condone
And a heart like styrofoam
Crack it
And watch the pieces fall
