"...we're caught in a tornado...and it's too late to run..." He looked out the window of the school bus, headphones on listening to Tornado by Steve Aoki.
His sunglasses covered his eyes. Because that twerp he called a little brother said his eyes were freaky. He knew they were. His pupils were deathly white. So white that you would say he had eyes like Riddick's.
"Just like Riddick's..." he smiled to himself, "just he's not as dangerous as I am."
Danny isn't who you'd call...a normal person, that's if he was human at all.
He could do things others couldn't..."Hey are you going to get off or not?" the bus driver asked him. Danny turned off his music, stood up and got off the bus as the bus driver watched him warily and said to himself, "kids these days."
Danny walked down the stairs of the bus, hands shoved into his jacket pocket, adjusting his sunglasses and turning his music back on. It was Friday.
"thank heavens," Danny thought to himself. He walked towards the entrance of his school. Blakeview High School. He walked up the stairs leading to the arched entrance. He saw some dude playing a guitar as a lovestruck girl sat next to him giggling and batting her eyes.
"Some people just don't have lives," he thought to himself as he nodded his head in disapproval and walked inside. The place was huge and was filled with chatter. Teens walked past him. Different sizes, colours, backgrounds. But he didn't dare look up, he kept his head down, pulled his hoodie over his head and walked on. He climbed up the stairs to the 2nd floor. That's where his locker was, he needed his textbook for algebra. He walked up 4 flights of stairs before he got to his locker.
The hallways were starting to thin out. Everybody was heading to class. He walked over to his locker and opened it, he was about to reach in for his book when his locker slammed shut. Danny could guess who did that. He tilted his head up just a bit to see Chad's frame standing in front of him, along with a few others. Chadwick Turnbull or also known as. Mad Chad. Was one of the biggest boys in Blakeview high. At 6"1 his height alone was intimidating adding to the fact that he looked like he was taking steroids. His veins visible on his neck and arms. Bloodshot eyes. And an animal like snarl.
Chad was literally the most dangerous boy on the street. Pissing him off at close range would probably be the last decision you'll ever make."Hi there sunglasses, you're late for class," Chad said in an almost mocking tone. "Why do you always have shades on inside?" "Are you some kind of a freak? "
"You have no idea..." Danny muttered to himself.
"Why don't you take em off huh? Here lemme help you," Chad said reaching for his glasses. Pretty quickly. It felt like he was coming in for more of a punch.
Danny side stepped him at the last minute. His gaze still dropped to the floor. Never once looking up or uttering a word.Chad stood up straight to his full height. "I said-"
"He heard what you said you moron. Now back off, " a voice said from behind Danny. He knew that voice. Trip Faraday, captain of the football and hockey team. Every girl's dream. Typical high school jock and whatnot. HE was the other biggest boy in the school. These two were the giants of Blakeview. Trip walked up to Chad to look him in the face. Also at 6"1 Trip matched Chad height and muscle. To a normal passerby this sight might seem pretty dangerous. These two involved in a fight would be like clash of the titans.
Trip looked Chad in the eye while Chad just jeered back."You're out of your jurisdiction Trip," he mocked.
"As far as I'm concerned, this is my jurisdiction," Trip shot back. His face in an obvious frown.
"I was just talking to shades over there. We were having a nice conversation. Right shades? " Chad said gesturing to Danny. Danny ignored him and kept his head down.
