This is one of my favorite chapters. Do you ship Liz and Lou??

After some chicken soup from room service, Tylenol, and lots of tea and resting, I felt better. I was sick for like 2 days. I felt awful inside and outside because he had to take care of me. What am I to him?

The curtains in my room were still shut, so I had no idea what time of day it was. I sat up in my bed and just sat there still for a few seconds. No dizziness. Good. I stood up and opened the curtains. It was late morning or maybe noontime. I was still in my pajamas that I wore for 2 days straight. EW.

I took a shower and turned it to the hottest setting. It cleared my whole body. The bathroom was steaming and I felt instantly refreshed. I changed into some new sweats and in a fresh T-shirt. I sent my pajamas for cleaning and I was starving. My stomach growled loudly.

Where was Louis? His door was still closed so I knocked on the door. He answered quickly and was extremely happy to see me awake. He was wearing a Hollister shirt and blue sweatpants with socks. His hair was a mess and he had deep, dark circles under his eyes. He hasn’t slept for days. Was that because of me? Ugh. I feel worst now about myself. He took my temperature every 4 hours over the course of the days I’ve been in bed, fluffed my pillow, gave me the pills whenever I needed them, called room service for food, just for me. I looked over to the desk next to bed, the lamp was on, and there were piles of paper, crumbled ones too. He must’ve been writing again.

            “Hey! You feeling better?”

            “Yeah, a lot. Thank you.”

“For what?” he questioned with a raised eyebrow. Oh gosh, he looks so cute when he does that. OMG WHAT AM I THINKING?

“Um, for like…taking care of me. When I was in bed these couple days. Sorry if I was being such a bother.” I shrugged my shoulders and did a quick smile.

“Oh, no need for thanking, I was really worried about you. And no bother at all.” His face was full of pleasure and I blushed. He cared about me. He really did.

“Well, I feel bad for keeping you up all night. See? You have panda eyes.” My finger began circling his eye.

“Oh, do I? Yeah, I didn’t have that much time to rest and sleep. I had some ideas so I spent these days writing and taking care of you.”

I blushed. “I have to pay you back somehow, Louis. Oh, your hair is sticking up…”

“Oh, really?” He lifted his hand to fix it, but mine beat his to it. He smiled. His hair was soft, and just a bit wet. He must’ve taken a shower this morning. “Thanks.”
