Liz's POV
After watching that interview, I needed to go. Back to California. I just had to. I just loved him too much. I started packing my clothes into my suitcase.
I heard a knock at my door. My back was towards the door so I assumed it was Kylie. "Hey Kylie, I'm going back to California for a little break. Wanna help me pack?"
"You aren't going anywhere."
That voice.
I would recognize it anywhere.
It can't be.
I slowly turned towards the door.
Louis.
"Whatareyoudoinghere?" I stammered.
"Hear me out. Please." He was holding roses. And a loud speaker was behind him.
Oh god.
He leaned down to turn the speaker on. Music flowed out. And...
The song.
Our song.
(A/n: you should search up Louis's cover of Look After You right now. Because... REASONS. Go.)
He took a deep breath and began singing.
"If I don't say this now, I will surely break.
As I'm leaving the one I want to take
Forgive the urgency but hurry up and wait
My heart has started to separate
Oh, oh,
Be my baby
Ohhhhh
Oh, oh
Be my baby
I'll look after you
There now, steady love, so few come and don't go
Will you won't you, be the one I'll always know
When I'm losing my control, the city spins around
You're the only one who knows, you slow it down
Oh, oh
Be my baby
Ohhhhhh
Oh, oh
Be my Baby
I'll look after you
And I'll look after you
If ever there was a doubt
My love she leans into me
This most assuredly counts
She says most assuredly
Oh, oh
Be my baby
I'll look after you
After You
Oh, oh
Be my baby
Ohhhhh
It's always have and never hold
You've begun to feel like home
What's mine is yours to leave or take
What's mine is yours to make your own
Oh, oh
Be my baby
Ohhhhh
Oh, oh
Be my baby"
I started crying after he sang the first stanza. He walked over to me and put the roses on my bed. He cupped my face, using his thumbs to wipe my tears. His touch was exhilarating and I felt goosebumps all over.
