Chapter 2

"I know who you actually are" said a deep voice behind me. I turned to look. That was not what I was expecting...

"What are you wearing?!" I said rubbing my eyes just to make sure I wasn't dreaming "you look like a weirdo, take it off"

"I cant..."

Let me tell you something about my friend Sandra. Sandra has long, wavy hair and she can be really weird... sometimes... okay, all the time.

"So, you're gonna wear that penguin suit for the whole day?" I said

"Yeah, until I find my clothes. I know I out them in there somewhere" she looked around through her bag.

"I found them. Let's go to the bathroom so you can change"

*ring*

" Sandra I'll see you later the bell rang and I've got to get to class" I say quickly

I got to class just on time. Everyone was seated and the only seat left was next to bus boy. I walked over and sat next to him.

"Hi there", silence "you're not much of a talker, are you?" He continues reading his book. I looked around awkwardly, thinking of something to say to get him to talk.

I turn back to talk to him, but he was gone. Wait... And so was everyone else.

"Um... Class was already dismissed" just great, first day back and I've already been caught day dreaming.

I walked out of the classroom into the corridor, quickly making my way to period one when suddenly THUD!... The door flung open.

"Agh! You son of a - Oh hi Mrs Redfern" I say hoping she didn't hear what I said earlier

"Watch where you're going next time. You should know not to walk next to door in between periods" she said rudely

Wow, she really hates me, doesn't she? I'll tell you something about Mrs Redfern. She hated me, I don't even know why. I've only ever talked in her class once... Or maybe it was twice. Alright, all the time. But still... You don't treat a person like that. Anyways, back to the story.

I got up off the floor and walked to my maths class. I love maths... Just don't tell anyone I said that. They'll think I'm a freak.

After maths finished it was recess. I got my food and walked out into the playground to meet my friends, Sandra and Mike. I walked over to our usual spot- under the tree near the fountain. Just as I stepped on the grass... BANG! It sounded like and explosion has gone off, right under me.
