I felt my phone vibrated. I put it out and check. My heart automatically flutters upon seeing the caller id. It's him.

I couldn't help but smile.

"Hello?" I answered as I went outside our room. Good thing our Professor left earlier.

Just in time for this call huh?

(Hey Baby!) Spence said on the other line.

"Hey! Why call?" I asked.

(Would you mind coming to the Gymnasium after class?)

After class?

Gym?

"Why? Anong meron?" I said with my forehead knotted.

Ang alam ko Wednesday pa ang Acquaintance Party nila.

(Jasper and I will be coming for the basketball try-outs later. You'd be coming right? Keisha is.) sabi nya

Ahh.. Try-outs. I then nodded. Right... He really loves Basketball. I don't mind. He's really really good at it.

Pero, Teka...

Best ... is coming? Agad ko syang nilingon and found her smiling widely, texting.

I knew it.

"Sure. Will be going there now." I said

I heard him shout Yes! on the other line. I couldn't help but shook my head.

(See you baby. I'd be waiting for you.) he said

I could even imagine him right now.

"See you then. Byeiiii." I said

"Okay."

I then heard him chuckle.

"Nah. You end the call."

"I won't. You end it."

I can't help but laugh. This has always been our dilemma.

"Hey Best! Ibaba mo na yan para makapunta na tayo sa Gym. Duh?" I heard Keish said as she grabbed my phone from me.

"Hey Spence, I'd end this cheesy convo muna okay? Bye." Best said and ended the call. She then gave my phone back with my bag on the other hand.

Napangiti naman ako. "Excited pumunta ng Gym?" i teased

"And so? Tara na kasi. Tagal nyo eh." She said as she cling unto my right arm and pull me out of the room.
