Chapter 5 | Accepted

"CB97?!" You unknowingly dropped the bag you were carrying at the sight of your dream guy. He was your idol. Your hands were on your mouth, covering them and mentally cursing yourself after realizing what you just did.

Everyone in the room including the staff who was filming the boys looked at you.

How embarrassing.

"Oy." He just said that and smiled at you. "Call me Chan instead."

Well, this is the first time you saw well, Chan. (Take note, you call him CB97 because you literally didn't know his real name.)

And he just introduced himself to you.

"I mean..." You were more nervous now. Not just by embarrassing yourself but also not knowing what to say next.

"CB97!?" The blonde boy mimicked you. Your eyes landed onto him and shoot him a glare. Rude, I know.

They all laughed at his mimick.

"Good one, Felix." The tall one said.

'So that's his name, Felix.'

After their laugh, everything went back to normal. Even you were less nervous now. That laugh lasted long enough to calm you down.

"Anyway, she's here as the next makeup artist. But we'll have to test her skills first." Mr. Lee said and he looked at you, signalling you to introduce yourself to them.

"Hello, I am L/N, Y/N. I'm glad to meet you. Although it was awkward." You whispered the last part in nervousness.

"Hello, I'm Hwang Hyunjin. Sorry for bumping onto you earlier." He smiled at you and bowed.

'Finally you're apologizing.'

You couldn't get your eyes off his face. He was a god. His smile has something in it that you find astonishing. The way his eyes narrows makes you feel tingles in tour stomach. (But seriously guys this is so true I can feel this myself —a/n)

"No, it was nothing. I wasn't bothered after all." You smiled back and bowed as well. Well honestly you were bothered. How could he be so rude at first then becomes this... sweet?

"I see you're a fan of Chan hyung here." He mentioned.

The boys looked at you and smiled some even laughed.

"Well, I listen to 3RACHA every time." You said and remembered something. You took out your phone and showed it to them. "Look, I even have my phone case as your album cover."

They looked intently at your case and smiled. How sweet.

"Wow, thanks. I can't believe one of our future makeup artist is a fan." Chan said sweetly.

After the getting-to-know-each-other portion, when you finally knew their names, Chan, Hyunjin, Felix, Minho and Jeongin, it was time for your test.

Hyunjin was a stable guy so no worries. He was balanced and coordinates well. He wasn't that type of guy to do makeup on who'd keep moving when you use the brush on their eyes. It was annoying. And every time you finish putting a shade of makeup in his eye, not to mention that his skin is perfect, he would open his eyes and look at you. Weird.

After the successful test, Mr. Lee instructed you to stay at the room while he and your subject, Hyunjin will go to the other staff and judge your outcome.

You were left with the rest of the boys and talked.

"Yes, I've been a fan since you guys started." You said to Chan.

"Aw, I'm so touched. Wait till Jisung and Changbin hears this." He applauded.

"Who's Changbin and Jisung?" You scratched your head out of ignorance.

"SpearB and J.One!" They all said in unison and laughed after.

"Aahhh." How stupid of you not to realize.

After the chit chats, you and Chan even took 3 photos together. It was something you want to show Seulmi when you get home and brag it to her face. Well of course you didn't want to do that because she just paid for your rent, but who wouldn't??

You were lucky enough to ask them why they were there and are they perhaps some new trainees. Well you got that right. They mentioned that there were nine of them including Hyunjin and the rest of the 3R members with Chan as their leader.

Hyunjin and Mr. Lee arrived after some time and informed you that you got the job. You were so happy that you jumped and wiggled. The boys were also happy to have you as a new member of the JYP family. They even gave you a group hug.

You walked out of the building with the happiest smile ever and immediately called for a taxi and went to Seulmi's house.

"How'd it go?" She was literally waiting outside her gate just for you and hugged you.

You took out the paper showing your confirmation and showed it to her, wiggling your eyebrows.

"Eeekkk!!" You both squealed and jumped around.

Seulmi made you stay at her place for the night since she knew you were tired of the long day.

After taking a shower, you plopped down your bed and took your phone. You saw a notification and looked at it. Turns out it was a message from someone unknown.
