Chapter 15 | Answer

a few days later

It's Sunday and your work calls.

They said the boys will be having their debut concert today. You can't believe they're finally becoming what they've always dreamed to be.

The whole company is busy for this day. Staffers running around, doing their things, cameras everywhere, and you were busy doing his makeup again.

"Have you thought about it?" He opened his eyes as you finished doing his eyes.

You looked at him and placed the makeup kit down.

"I'll answer you when you'll do well in the show." You smiled at him, watching him standing up.

"Okay, I'll do well then." He hugged you after that.  "I promise that."

As if on cue, you hugged him back. How could you say no to him?

Meanwhile, on the other side of the room were Chan and Jeongin watching.

"Do you think he's pulling his moves too quickly?" The older asked.

"Yeah. Pretty obvious, hyung." The younger nodded as he exited the room.

"Hyunjin-ah! We're up!" Chan called.

When Hyunjin heard his hyung, he let go of the hug and smiled at you while resting his hands on each of your shoulders.

"Do well! Fighting!" You held your thumbs up at him. He just chuckled. Again, that precious dimple showing up.

"For you."

Hyunjin pecked your cheek and went to the stage.

You were left starstruck with awe at his actions recently.

"Girl, get your shit together. We're up anytime." Mirae smacked your butt and you instantly snapped back to reality.

"What?" You blinked your eyes.

"You were staring at space for five minutes. They just finished a song and in any minute now they'll come back." Xienlei said.

"Oh. I didn't realize." You shook your head and started preparing things you're gonna need.

"Hey, we know you're drop dead about Hyunjin but think of your job when you're here. We don't want you gone, kid." Mirae said and you apologized. They were your seniors and they do care about you so they're doing this.

The show went well and finished as planned. Stray Kids, the name of their group, have finally debuted with the main track 'District 9'. You found the whole song amazing especially Hyunjin's rap. The choreo was lit as well. You can really say they did a great job.

After saying goodbye to the fans who attended the concert, the boys went to the backstage where the rest of the staff were. They clapped their hands as the boys entered the room. Praises were thrown to them and they were shy after hearing them from the people.

The boys parted ways and you could see Hyunjin walking to you with a bright smile plastered on his beautiful face.

"Y/N." He smiled.

"Wah, you really did well." You applauded.

"I know. Now there's something I'm waiting for." He looked at you intently.

"Oh, before that, let's get you freshen up. You're sweating too much." You helped him dry his face and neck with tissues and he held a fan against his face. This whole time he was just looking at your face while trying to remove his sweat.

"We should go out after this." He suggested.

"Hm?" You threw the tissues in the bin and looked back at him. "Sure."
