• The waves of agony which perturb your sea,
This insecurity where it is like others you want to be;
The smile that you feign to cloak the pain of your heart,
And the fears that clutch you, tearing you apart.

I've felt it all,
I've seen thousands fall.
This well called life, this monster called time,
This pain called change have together snatched your smile.

People can see the tears which scream through your eyes,
There's only so much that you can hide by your lies.
The way you cry when you think of the past,
Let it go; only valuable things last.

The words you write are dripping with sorrow,
Tongues of fear accompany your tomorrow.
Everything that today you're going through,
Tomorrow they'll make a stronger you.

These foundations which you think are weak,
Are actually growing stronger- so why is it loneliness that you seek?
Drive out the monsters which fight to come in,
It takes a lot to be comfortable in your own skin.

Those who left were never meant to be,
They were the fog which prevented you to see clearly.
And through these dense forests you'll find your way,
I know life's hard, but smile a little today.•
