•One night when I lose control,
And pain lies scattered on my floor,
I'll drink madly as a hatter,
Because I know I wouldn't be able to take this anymore.I'll injure parts of me as I walk,
My bones and my skin,
But nothing will compare,
To the injuries that lie within.I won't lie, I promise,
I'll speak like never before,
I'll walk bare feet,
And knock onto your door. But darling you won't be home,
Because my stupid drunk feet,
Would have driven me to, instead,
The gates of my defeat. •
