38. Ache

There are times when you look,
Right into the sea,
And find a version of you,
You never wanted to be.

Your world begins to fall,
And you're falling along,
Because you know,
That you're the only thing that's wrong.

Sometimes you can't blame life,
Or love, or pain,
Because sometimes the problem lies within,
Like parasites in your brain.

And slowly, you wait,
For this ache to break through,
Until it subsides,
Or until, this ache becomes you.
