5:37 p.m.

I watched the car drive past me, Max in my arms. They stared at me, five of them. A man with a man-bun drove the car, one with light brown hair, one with pink-ish hair, and the blonde guy from my dream.

He's real too?

Then there he was, sitting there. The guy with the green eyes, the dark brown hair. Our eyes met, mesmerizing me. I watched the car until it was out of sight, disappearing among the trees.

I looked down at my bare feet, my freshly painted pink toe-nails. I turned around, facing the house. I walked into it, and closed the door. I placed Max on the wooden floor, and watched him run into the living room. I followed, noticing Morgan on the couch. She flipped through the channels on the TV, stopping to press the Netflix button.

"You got him?" She said, smiling. I watched the screen as she pressed on The 100, our favorite show.

"Yep." I sighed.

"You okay? You seem drained." Morgan said, looking at me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just a little tired." I replied, sitting on the couch.

6:23 p.m.

Once was got home from Chipotle, I took off my shoes at the door.

I felt a tapping on my shoulder. It was Corey.

"Hey. We should go over there one day." He said, his head motioning towards the neighbors house. "Ya know, for a good first impression."

"Yeah, I guess." I said, looking down at my feet.

"Oh, and by the way, it's your turns walk the dogs. You know, just a block or two around the house." Corey said, turning to the kitchen.

Ugh . . .

We had a chore schedule in the house, for example; one day Aaron, washes dishes, then Jake washes them the next day. It's simple really.

I decided to do it now since it was late. I grabbed my shoes, slipped them back on, and took Buddy and Navi's leashes from their hooks.

"Navi! Buddy!" I shouted, them running toward me.

I hooked the leashes to their collars, and stood up.

"I'm going to walk the dogs!" I yelled, notifying the roommates.

I turned around and opened the door. The dogs jumped up and down, excited for their daily exercise ritual. I walked with them out of the house, and shut the door behind me. I stopped, and looked at the neighbor's house, towering over the hedges. There they were, those all too familiar curtains flowing in the wind.

6:34 p.m.

I got up off the couch, stretching. Morgan shut off the TV.

"Hey, we should have pizza or something." She said, walking into the kitchen.

"Yeah, sure. I don't care what kind." I said.

I suddenly heard an assortment of scratching behind me. I turned around and there was Max, clawing up the wooden door.

"He probably wants to be walked. You should go, get some fresh air. There'll be warm pizza waiting for you when you get back." She said smiling, throwing me the blue leash we got him.
