5:06 p.m.

We brought Max home, he loved us. I had even coaxed Morgan into buying him some little treats and toys.

We pulled up into our driveway. Morgan pressed the button to open the garage door. That's when I saw him.

The guy from the dream. Brown hair and all. He wore a Nirvana tee and some basketball shorts. I was confused.

He lives there? Wait, what? I thought, shaking my head.

"Aly? You okay?" Morgan asked me, looking to where I was staring. She gasped, "Ooh, someone's got a crush."

"I just, I feel like I've seen him before." I said, as he walked into the house.

"We should go over there one day, meet everyone." She said, looking away.

"Um, nah." I said.

Max jumped up and down in Morgan's car, looking at me. I took him in my arms, playing with his ears.

We got out of the car and walked into the house. I set Max down, and followed him as he ran about the house. I helped Morgan get the dog "equipment" inside, including food and toys. He was already potty-trained, which I was thankful for.

Morgan was leaving in a few days, I didn't know what I was going to do. We had to get all of her college stuff together, since Mom and Dad weren't here for it. Her furniture was there, her mini-fridge, coffee table, carpets, bedding. Everything was there except for her other decorations and school stuff.

I took Max upstairs with me to my room, which was newly decorated.

It was beautiful, a big improvement from my small room back in New York

It was beautiful, a big improvement from my small room back in New York. I found the curtains in one of the house's, many, closets. I lay down on the bed, taking off my boots and sweater, tossing them on the floor. Max stood in his new bed, sniffing it. I couldn't stop thinking about the dream. I got up and stood by my window, gazing out of it.

I gasped.

There he was, staring, in the window. I blinked, and he was gone. I shook my head and blinked some more. Nothing.

His eyes. I . . .

I fell back on the bed, not knowing what had happened. Max got up and bolted out of the room at the sound of a car starting.

What the hell?

I ran after him, down the stairs.

Then I realized, I left the door open.

There he went right out the door, into the drive way.

5:11 p.m.

I had just gotten home from the gym, something I hadn't done in a while. I hung my keys and took off my shoes, and walked up the stairs to my room. I showered at the gym, not worried about it. I walked up to the window and looked outside. There were the same curtains, waving in the wind. I had to see her. See if she was real.

"Colby!" I heard Corey yell from downstairs. "We're going to Chipotle. You comin?"

I thought on it, but then decided to go, even though I had just gotten home.

I grabbed a sweatshirt and changed into jeans.

We all fit into Corey's car, fastening our seatbelts. We drove past the new neighbors house, where the girl from my dream lived. I started at it, looking at their cars. Two of them, hopefully she didn't have a boyfriend. Then I realized the door was open a crack, revealing the wooden floor and living room inside.

"Yeah, I'm curious about them too." Jake said, elbowing me.

"Wait, we played the Ouija board in there, didn't we." Sam pointed out, staring at the house.

Suddenly, a small dog, bursted out the door. Then I saw her.

Brown hair and all. The same girl. I stared at her, she stared back. She grabbed the dog up in her arms, looking at the passing car.

"Oof, bruh she's cute." Jake said.

Then they all realized where she was looking, where I was looking, with wide eyes. They stared at me, confused. I didn't notice. I never tore my gaze. She just stood there. She was almost out of sight, disappearing within the few trees on the block.

Then Aaron asked, "You know her?"

I looked down at my feet, shaking my head.

"I don't know. I feel like I've seen her before."

We continued on to get our food, everyone talking but me. I just looked down at the burritos I ordered, not hungry.

I need to see her . . .
