7:49 a.m.
Alyssa stood in front of me, her hair blowing in the wind. I couldn't stop staring.
"H-Hey." I said, waving.
"Um, hey." She said. She's cute when she's awkward.
"You-you wanna sit?" I said, gesturing towards the chair in front of me.
"Yeah, sure." She said, sitting down.
"So, uh." I stuttered, scratching my head.
"You wanted to talk?" She asked, looking at me.
"Yeah, ok. I'm just gonna say it. I've been having dreams. But you're in them." I said, waiting for a response. "And, I-I just can't get it out of my head."
She sat there with her mouth wide open.
"So have I."

7:51 p.m.
"H-How is that possible?" He asked, rubbing his head.
"I d-don't know. The first day I got here, I had a dream. I was standing at my window, then right across the way, you stood, in your window, staring back at me." I said.
"What about last night?" Colby asked.
"I don't remember much of it. All I know is that when I woke up this morning, my side hurt." I nodded my head at him.
"Okay, this is going to sound weird. But, I think I need a more private place to tell you." He said, looking around. "You wanna come to my house?"
"Um, sure. You have roommates right?" I asked, a little bit worried.
"Yeah, but I'm the worst of them. There's a girl in the mix too. You'll be fine. C'mon." He stood up, smiling.
I followed, but quickly grabbed my frappe on the way out.
"I'll just drive to my house and come over." I said to Colby.
He nodded.
I was a bit skeptical, but resisted. I got into my car, and started the engine. I watched as Colby pulled out of the parking lot in a red car. I followed him to our houses.
I parked in my drive way, and walked over to their house. Colby held open the door for me. I walked in and gasped. The tile floors gleamed, I could hear the faint sound of rap music coming from upstairs.
"Hey guys! Come downstairs!" Colby yelled, standing beside me.
I short girl with brown hair emerged from one of the rooms to my left. She smiled at me.
"Hi! You must be Alyssa!" She said.
"Hey. I like your makeup." I replied.
"Yeah. I'm studying cosmetology. I'm Devyn by the way." She waved.
I exchanged the gesture.
Then, a man, the one with the man-bun, came from the same room.
"This is my boyfriend, Corey." Devyn said, guiding him over to me.
"Hey." He said, smiling.
"Alyssa." I told him.
"I'll go get the others from upstairs. You guys can go into the living room." Colby said, walking upstairs.
Devyn waved her hand, gesturing for me to follow. I obeyed, walking into the living room.
A large sofa was in the room, including a TV and an X-box. Devyn and Corey sat down, I did the same.
Suddenly, Colby walked in with three other guys. They stood in front if the TV, Colby naming them off.
"Sam, Jake, Aaron. This is Alyssa." He said, smiling at me.
Shyly, I waved at them.
"Sup girl." Jake said, the one with the colored hair.
Aaron and Sam waved. They sat down.
"So. Colby tells us that you and you sister moved here from New York?" Devyn said.
"Yeah, actually. My sister, Morgan, was gonna move here for a while for her college, so my parents thought it would be a good idea for me to come with." I said.
"Wait. How old are you guys? Just in case we throw some wild parties and you're invited." Jake asked, intrigued.
"I'm 19, and Morgan's 21." I replied.
"Well, I'm gonna go back upstairs. It was nice to meet you Alyssa." He waved, and walked back upstairs.
"Sorry. Aaron's sort of addicted to Fortnite." Sam said, rolling his eyes.
I laughed.
"You guys wanna hang out, or?" Corey said, pointing to me and Colby.
We looked back and forth at each other, blushing.
"Well, I was gonna say we talk and get to know each other better, ya know." Jake said, looking at me.
~
We talked for a couple hours. I quickly learned that the whole house did YouTube and other social media. Sam and Colby explored abandoned places for a living. Everyone else pretty much did prank videos.
I also learned that my house is supposedly haunted. A few of the roommates came at night when the house was still being built. They brought a Ouija board and recorded it. I learned they're Instagram and Snapchats, we all became friends quickly. My Instagram, alyssa.tylerr, had only a few hundred followers, I posted mostly photography pictures, a passion of mine. Sunsets were my favorite.
I suddenly caught Colby staring at me, I looked away smiling. He did the same.
My phone vibrated, a text from Morgan popped up.
Morgan: where are you? i need to pack for tomorrow.
Me: okay okay. i'm at colby's house. i'll be right over.
"Hey, I need to go. Morgan wants help packing. She's leaving for college tomorrow." I said, standing up.
"Aye, that means you can come over whenever you want." Jake said, laughing.
"I'll see you guys later." I said, putting on my jacket.
"Bye!" They all said, waving.
I smiled, and waved back as I shut the door. I breathed hard, closing my eyes.

12:01 p.m.
I watched as Alyssa left, the door closing behind her. Sam and Jake had gone back upstairs to do whatever. Devyn had gone into the kitchen. Corey stood up and stretched out his arms.
"You know she likes you right?" He said to me, smiling.
"I mean, I'm maybe crushing a little bit . . ." I said, blushing.
"She was staring at you the whole time and don't deny it." He said, walking out.
