Pidge looks at his laptop, the purple words reflecting on his glasses.

Pidge chews on his bottom lip as he stares at the electronic poster some more.

"Hey, Hunk," Pidge finally calls out.

Hunk turns around from his video game and scoots closer to Pidge in his rolling chair. "Are you done?" Hunk asks, while looking at the poster.

"I think so... is there anything missing?" Pidge muttered.

"Email: check. Links: check. Important info: check..." Hunk mumbled, "Yeah, I think it's done." He then announces.

Pidge reads the ad once more, "Shouldn't we tell the others?"

Hunk thinks for a while, "Maybe..."

Pidge rolls his eyes at the vague answer.
"Whatever," Pidge says and clicks post.

"Now we wait."

     Lance remembers their dog.

His name had been Azulejo. Azul for short. Dark brown fur and big brown eyes with the floppiest ears.

Lance had loved him. But he had just been a kid. And he didn't really understand what it meant to take care of a dog. A puppy.

His little sister had been six and Lance had been eight. The puppy was only four months old when their father had suddenly brought him to the apartment.

His father had smiled, wrinkles in the corner of his eyes, and said, "Va traer amor y felicidad a esta familia. (It'll bring love and happiness into this family.)"

But Lance had wondered then too what his father knew of love.

His mother had been furious. She kept ranting about responsibilities, and costs, and maintenance, and bills, and time, and decisions made without her approval. She was pissed because "¿Tu quien crees que limpia y cuida esta casa y esta familia? (Who do you think cleans and takes care of this house and family?)"

This had pissed off his father because, "¡Todo lo que hago te molesta! ¡Solo trato de ayudar! ¿Por que nunca puedes estar contenta? (Everything I do makes you mad! I'm only trying to help! Why can't you ever be happy?) "

Was this love? Lance had wondered while he slept in his bed, between Azul and his baby brother. They were all so excited about this new addition to the family (except his mother). This could change things.

The dog was gone in less than a year.

He'd cried about him for a few months after Azul had disappeared. His mother had told him Azul had run away. His sister had been devastated. His baby brother couldn't care less. His father hadn't given a fuck.

Lance never knew what happened to Azul.

Lance still doesn't know what love is.

So how is he supposed to define these feelings that make his heart want to explode?

What if what he felt for a certain boy was just something that would go away in less than a year? Was he just trying to fix himself by liking this boy? Like his father had tried to fix their family with Azul?

There were so many questions Lance had. Questions that would never be answered. Lance didn't know what love was, but what he knew for sure is that he could never let Keith or anybody know about his feelings.
