*************AbOUT 2 MONTHS TIME SKIP****************

       "So, Keith," Coran lets out a quiet sigh, "What... do you think about transgender people?"

    "Um, what?" Keith said, confused.
   It had been a few weeks since he had moved to Altea. They were now eating dinner (pizza, again) and asking each other questions (Shiro's idea). Keith's time ('that made it sound like he was going to leave' Keith thought) here is probably the happiest he had been in a long time...

"Yeah, just a question..." Coran replied as he stroked his mustache. (It was quite an impressive mustache)

Pidge looked up from his phone, yet still looked quite bored.

"Oh, I..." Keith was struggling to respond. Of course he supported transgender people! But what if they didn't? Why was this a question? This is a really random question. Why? What-

"Well, who am I to stop people from being who they are?" Keith answered, hoping it was the right thing to say. God, he should be confident about this, right? Besides it was so random!

   "Eh, right! It's who they are." Coran went back to eating.

   Ah, shit, did he say the right thing? But he did say what he felt, he was going to be honest with them no matter what.

    "That's great! Actual-" Shiro exclaimed but cut off, and just shrugged. "Never mind, some other day."

What? Keith felt a bit anxious. It was obvious they were hiding something from him; he wasn't in on something.... This made him feel even more anxious, and slightly angry. What? Why ask him about this stuff and then cut off in the middle of the explanation?

Pidge sighed and turned off his phone. "So, Keith, you interested in astronomy?" His honey colored eyes staring directly into Keith's eyes; his gaze was as intense as...

"Hm?" Keith had been in the middle of chewing pizza. He hastily swallowed (almost choking) and quickly answered,

"Um, sure... um, I mean.." Keith sounding conflicted, trying to find out if he was saying the right thing.

Pidge's eyes widened with excitement, not noticing Keith's shifting eyes, and suddenly jumped up, "You wanna join our astronomy club?"

"Oh, is that the club you guys went to on my first day-?"

"Yeah! We're actually running low on members," Pidge exclaimed and then muttered, "who are actually interested."

"Really? But- I thought Altea high was known for their amazing astronomy program..."

    "Well, yes, but that's because of Hunk, Lance and me, we made it progress so much, and we'll be gone soon, which means our progress will probably fade away... Well, I mean you're a senior too, but anybody can join!" Pidge had a wide smile that made Keith feel warm. It was so rare for Keith to see such brilliant smiles.

"Well, yeah, I'd like to join... is there something I have to do to get in?" Keith asked. Oh man, he wasn't ready for this type of commitment. He was already fucking nervous. All those people.

"Hm, not really. You'll just have to attend the meetings and sign this pledge so you can join the club, 'cause you can't join the class now, but that's okay!" Pidge finished, looking proud of himself.

"Sounds great." Keith said weakly.
