"Be careful Rune"
It was an eerie warning that she should have listened to.
Taking risks was out of Rune Ambrosia's character but with the recent death of her best friend she had nothing else to lose.

Fresh scents of jasmine swirled in the air as I clutched my hands onto the intricately detailed door feeling my heartbeat pulsing in my ears. I blew out a shallow breath stepping into the golden and deep red saturated room draped into the silky garments sprawled across the bedsheets.
But that wasn't the only thing lying on top of it. Fragments of moonlight cascaded onto the blonde tufts of the King's messy hair seeping from the sheets. Resting the back of his hand on his lids his deep voice rustled breaking free from his lips.
"Did the maids forget to teach you how to greet people?" he groaned. "Especially someone of a high standard such as your king"
"N-No my king" I cleared my throat fidgeting with the strands of my blonde wig.
I didn't know these girls actually got trained in prostitution.
"Then what are you waiting for?" he scoffed.
"Good evening my king, w-would you like me to get you anything to eat?"
I gulped quickly realising the words that had spilled from my dry lips.
Why am I talking about food when I'm supposed to be masquerading as a play-toy, not a chef?!
Silence drowned the place as he lifted his head up from the bed furrowing his brows at me.
My heart sank spamming into my chest until it yanked it into a tight hold.
He paused narrowing his eyes at me. Slowly he looked me up and down as if he was examining me just like back at the police station. Sweat trickled into the palm of my hands with quick vibration from my rapid pulse.
"You look different" he slid out of the bed walking over to me with tender footsteps.
Did he see through my disguise?!
I darted my gaze from him simmering myself into the door as I cowered my hands into my chest.
"Polina" he paused right in front of me. His eyes expanding and his smooth voice thickened with surprise.
"Huh?"
"Is that you?"
Shoot what kind of disguise did I get?
"I-I'm sorry my king I don't know who you speak of?"
Rich scents of cologne infused into my nose as he trailed his fingers through my hair inching closer to my neck. I flinched at the goosebumps coiling up my arms at his warm breath melting into the crevices of my skin.
