Falling in Love With my Rival

~Chapter 11~

Daichi turns to Tomoki and asks, "So, are you coming back to school?"
      "Huh? Oh! Yea. I don't know bout that. I still think it's best if I stay out of school." Tomoki answers sounding a little scared.
      I take hold of his hand, "Please come back to school. You have nothing to be scared of. I'll protect you as much as I can. I promise." Daichi starts squealing again and we both ignore him. Even though I am laughing on the inside right now.
      Tomoki intertwines our fingers together and says, "I would love to come back to school but I don't think that it's the right thing to do. I'm doing this for your safety."
      "Tomoki please stay. I can't bare the thought of you leaving. I want you to stay by my side. That way we know that we are both safe."
      He moves forward, our fingers still intertwined, and lays his head on my chest. "I guess you're right, Mika. I'll stay. I'll start coming back to school."
      I wrap my arms around him and he does the same. Daichi comes over and puts his arms around our necks and ruins the hug. We laugh and Daichi starts to head back to the entrance. "Come on love birds. Class is bout to start." He yells over his shoulder. I start walking towards Daichi but Tomoki grabs my arm and says.
"We'll be there in a minute. I have to talk to Mika about something."
"Ok... Fine" Daichi exits the roof and I turn towards Tomoki.
      Tomoki looks at me, a disappointed look on his face. "So, what's the real reason you were cutting yourself?"
