Beep. And with that the call ended. What does she mean!? Is there something I'm suppose to know or be worrying about!? I don't know. I'll ask Tomoki about it. I start heading to Tomoki's room. When I get there, I find him asleep at the desk with a textbook open. He must've been studying. I go into the room and pick him. I set him on the bed and pull the covers over him then I leave. I'll ask him tomorrow.
As I leave I notice how his wet hair shines in the moonlight coming in through the window. I smile whilst having that beautiful image in my head and I leave closing the door behind me. I go into the kitchen and grab a late night snack and head up to my room. I go over to my desk and decide to start writing my story.
It's around 11:30 now so I guess I should head to bed since I have school tomorrow. I get up and lay down on the bed. As I close my eyes, I start to drift away into sleep. It last long though because not long after I hear a crash and it sounds like it's coming from Tomoki's room. I jump out of bed and bolt out of my room, heading towards Tomoki.
When I get there I see the window broken and a man on top of Tomoki holding a knife. I run over to Tomoki and throw the man off of him. I help Tomoki up and then turn towards the attacker. He has the knife still in his hand. I've learned a couple of fighting skills from Mom so I'll try to take him down. I hope Tomoki is ok.
If he's hurt this man here will die tonight. He starts to come after Tomoki and I push him out of the way. The blade of the knife pierces my hand and blood starts dropping to the floor. I look up and see Tomoki with a pissed expression. He takes the kibitz out of my hand and holds it looking like he's about to stab someone. He looks at the attacker and sprints towards him. The attacker dodges and tackles Tomoki to the ground and the knife skims across the floor and lands at my feet. I go over to them and hold the knife above my head.
I strike down onto the attacker and the knife gets stuck in his back. He cries out in pain. He runs over to the window and jumps out. I look at Tomoki and I see him staring at my hand.
"I'm sorry." He says averting his eyes to the ground. I go over to him and kneel down. This must be what Mom was talking about. I will never leave you Tomoki and that's a promise I will not break.
