2 years later
I am 2 and a half years old now, and it is the first month of summer again, only this time Luka is going to go with Elisabeth and Phoebe. Luka was born during the last week of the first month of summer, so he will be attending the academy this year so I will be only kid in my house and I know that I'm going to be sooo bored! But because we're so isolated, I can practice my magic in peace! Although I have caught mom and dad watching me practice lava and fire magic, to make sure that I don't get hurt, again... I did that once, a few months ago and I burned almost my entire right arm. They could hear me scream but by the time they got to me I had healed my arm with Light magic.
But when I used Light magic, my disguise magic got weaker, to the point that my white streaks could be seen. Now that it's ok for me to walk and talk more, my parents have been taking me and Luka into town more. So while dad was sorting out business stuff with Mr. Porter, the triplets dad, mom took me and all of my siblings to the library. Now that Elisabeth is 9, and Phoebe is 8, they are a lot more mature, there is an older noble woman who meets at the library that teaches etiquette lessons. Nobel or royal children normally learn at 3 or 4 years old, but she has only just started to teach commoner children.
I have already read all of books with useful information in this library so I decided to go outside to where the noble woman was teaching. I could hear some of the other kids saying,"Thank you Lady Nightingale," OH HECK NO!!!!!! That is my fathers finances mother!! And she was like a second mom to my mother, and she is probably going to recognize me because the only thing that I never changed was my face. So basically I look like a tiny version of my mother, but I really want to learn etiquette, I really hope I don't give this poor lady a heart attack.
I walk over to where she is teaching, and she turns around, I do a little curtsy and say, "May I join you Lady Nightingale?" There's a pause and a look on her face like she's seen a ghost, "Ye-es, young lady wh-what is your name?" I'm wondering if I should scare her, just a little bit, I use telepathy to say, Annabella Snow, but it reality I said my name out loud. "WH-what did you say dear?" I tilt my head and look a little confused like the cute toddler I am, "Elodie Night malady." After a few seconds she nods her head and she continues with her lesson, I catch up fairly quickly. And by the end of the lesson I'm the best in the class!
And in just a few hours, but by then it is starting to get dark and dad had finished his meeting with Mr. Porter. He looked very happy, on the way home I asked if something good happened; and he said something about having double the amount of silk worms that we had last year? I don't know, but I did find a spell that can make a bag bottomless, like in Harry Potter, Hermione had this little bag that she just put all of this stuff in. Dad gave all of us these small purses to carry coins in, but when I used that spell it was almost exactly like Hermione's purse! And because they have been making extra money mom and dad decided to give us an allowance, so we get 10 coins a week, so one coin is like 1 dollar. But it's wide enough to fit something as wide as pillow, a big one, and the spell also makes the bag basically weightless.
As we were heading back home, we saw a traveling merchant going into town and asked us if we wanted to buy some books. He was coming from the Vripia Kingdom and some of the books had water damage so they were cheaper. "What kind of books mister?" I asked, "Spells and history books." My eye lit up, I've already read every spell and history book in the library, and this way I can learn about Vripia! He took out 15 books that were only slightly damaged and were sale for 10 coins, I gave my dad my sweet puppy dog eyes. He let me buy all of the books!! There goes my first allowance but it was so worth it, apparently they were all rare spell books but he didn't realize it!
And I can repair the with a combination of water, wind, and earth magic, and I can copy down the books, or make duplicates of them and sell them at full value. Which should be around 100 or more coins, and I carry them around with me all the time because I have a strap that I can wrap around my wrist. And I already used binding magic on it, so if anyone tries to open the bag it will just be a normal purse. Elisabeth got a spell book in better condition for 6 coins, Phoebe got a story book for 2 coins, and Luka decided to save his money. They were still surprised that he just sold all of those books to me for 10 coins.
The first book that caught my was Oliver Bells' Guide To Discovering New Types Of Magic. Which is essentially another book on magic subcategories, like lava and metal are subcategories for earth magic. Which is also how I found the proper way to repair the books, because the way I was going to do it would have erased all of the print and left me with a clean pice of paper...... Which would mean that I would have wasted my entire allowance for the week, it's a good thing I got this one.
We got home a few hours later we got home and it was about 11 o'clock at night, so we had to go to bed right away. We all put our books on the bookshelves because mom said that we couldn't read them until morning, we were all to tired to even stand.
1 month later
Elisabeth, Phoebe, and Luka are leaving for the Astria academy, I am now the only child in my house, I have more time to focus on my training, but now I don't have anyone to play with. And because I am the youngest child in the entire town, and because Luka was the second youngest I am now the only kid in town, literally! The train conductors make the last call for everyone to get on or get left behind, we say our last goodbyes and just like that they're off.
There are 12 returning new young adults, who will spend the next four years figuring out what they really want to do with their life. Two of which want to work with animals, a young man and woman, who are also dating, I might be in the body of a two and a half year old girl, but mentally I still crave drama like a 19 year old teenager. Their names are Declan and Naomi, and they're going to be living in the house with us, mom made sure to scare Declan about,'No funny or baby business.' Their faces where so red, so if these knuckle heads are going to be living with us for the next few years, I'm going to have some fun with them. "Mama, what does funny baby business mean?" All four of their faces tomato red and Declan and dad started to cough.
Hehehe, this is going to be a lot of fun.
