The three decided to go to Chick Fil A to eat, and so Nova could attempt to play with other kids. Amina was trying so hard to break her daughter out of her shyness. After Nova ate her food, she went to the play area, which left Amina and Chadwick by themselves.

"So, if you don't mind me asking..."Chadwick started, and Amina looked at him, curious about what he was going to ask. "How old are you and Nova?"

The woman wiped her fingers with the napkin, after eating some fries. "Well, I'm 23 and Nova is 6."

"Wow." He said, nodding his head. Chadwick couldn't imagine having a child at the age she did, but he could tell that she was doing an amazing job with her. "You make me feel old" He said, making them both laugh. "I'm 32."

"Really?" She asked, shocked. "You look younger. Like a cool 27." Amina joke, and Chadwick chuckled. "You're petty"

"It just happens." She shrugged looking at him, smiling. "Do you have any kids?"

His face instantly lit up, thinking about the child he had on the way. "My wife and I are expecting our first."

"Oh, congratulations!" She said, not entirely surprised that he was married, since he was an attractive man, but was his wife okay with him helping her? Did she even know? "How long have you been married?"

"We've been married for five years, but we've been together for about nine." He said, and Amina took a sip of her lemonade, nodding her head. She could tell he loved his wife, he looked so happy talking about her. Amina hoped to have someone love her and her daughter like that. She did at one point, Nova's father, but since he was no longer here, she's been reluctant to attempt to be in a relationship.

"Awe, that's so beautiful." She said, looking over at Nova, making sure that she was okay. When Nova saw her mother looking at her, she ran over to her.

"What's wrong?" Amina asked, concerned, but Nova shook her head. "Nothing. I just saw you looking, so I thought it was time to go."

"We should probably head out. We've held up enough of your time." She said, grabbing Nova's jacket and putting it on her.

"I don't mind at all, if she still wants to play for a while." He shrugged, but Amina shook her head. "If you insist." After collecting their things and throwing away the trash, they got into the car, and Amina gave him the address to her home.

"Thank you again, for everything." Amina said to Chadwick as he pulled up to her house.

"You don't have to thank me, Amina. You needed help, and I just so happened to be there." He said, and she nodded her head, and gave him a small smile. "If you don't mind, I would like to keep in touch with you. I want to make sure that you're okay, and if you ever need anything, I only live a few hours away."

"You don't have to do that." She shook her head. She didn't want to become someone's charity case. She's been doing things alone, and she was okay with keeping it that way.

Chadwick on the other hand, his only intentions were to help her out. He seen that she was a young, single mother, struggling, and he didn't want her to feel alone. He also wanted to be her friend. He didn't have many friends, and he had a feeling that she didn't either.

"But I want too. Please. I can't just go home and not be thinking about if you and your little girl is okay." He said and after staring at her for a while, she pulled out her phone and passed it too him.

"Come on, Nova." She said, getting out of the car after she had gotten her phone back.

"Bye, Mr. Chad." Nova said, deciding to give him a 'nickname'. Chadwick chuckled, and smiled at the little girl. "Bye, pretty girl." The grin on her face, almost made the man melt. He couldn't wait to for his own child to arrive.
