The man sat in a chair, in the corner of his hotel room, with his foot tapping. He was watching the woman he saved from the alley way, hours before. She was still unconscious, asleep on the bed. At first he was going to take her to the hospital, but he figured he would wait a while for her to wake up, then ask if she wanted to go to the hospital.
The man had finally left the diner and was sitting in his car, at a red light and heard screaming. He didn't realize that it was the waitress at the diner, until he got to his hotel room. He wanted to call someone on her phone, but it was locked, and she didn't have a thumb print on her phone.
The woman started to toss and turn, and finally opened her eyes, and looked around. She sat up quickly, afraid. The last thing she remembered was being attacked, so she automatically assumed the worst.
"Hey." The man said, walking towards her slowly. She backed away from him, not wanting to trust anyone. She thought that it was strange that she was in the hotel room of the man she was just serving hours before. "Don't worry, you're okay. You're safe."
She stared at him for a second, trying to decide if she should believe him or not. "What happened?"
"I was driving to my hotel, and I heard screaming, so I went to see what it was, and I saw you being attacked, so I helped you." He said, putting his hands into his pockets. He didn't want to get too close to the woman, since he could tell that she was uncomfortable, but he wanted her to know that he wasn't going to cause any harm to her.
"Oh my gosh." The woman said, realizing that it was day light outside. "I need to go. I need to get my daughter." The woman jumped up from the bed quickly, and instantly felt light headed. She started to fall to the ground, but the man grabbed her in time and helped her stand up straight.
"Slow down. Why don't you take a quick shower, I can give you some of my clothes, then I can take you wherever you need to go." The man offered, and after making sure she was able to stand on her own, she stared at him, still not wanting to trust the man, but something seemed good about him. The woman nodded her head, and after giving her some clothes he had already put to the side for her, he showed her to the bathroom.
The woman went into the bedroom, locking the door, still not comfortable with the fact that she was in a random man's hotel room. While the woman went to take her shower, the man's phone starting ringing and he sighed, already knowing who is was. He went to the side of the bed and looked at the caller ID that read, 'Wife❤️' .
He answered the phone, putting his phone to his ear, and sitting down on the bed. "Good morning, beautiful." The man said, honestly happy to be hearing from him wife. He's been out of town for almost a week, for business, and they hadn't talked much.
"Good morning, honey." The woman said, making the man smile at hearing her voice. "I just saw your text, what exactly is going on?" The man had texted his wife, letting her know what happened hours before with the woman, so she wouldn't think that something inappropriate was happening, in case something came up. He had briefly explained through text, but he was finally going into detail about it.
