Amina had been laying in the bed, awake for a while, gazing at a sleeping Chadwick. Before she had woken up, she wasn't entirely sure if what had happened was real, she thought it was a dream. But when she woke up and saw the both of them lying in bed nakedly, she knew that in fact it wasn't a dream at all. It was real, this was a reality.
This was her reality.
Thought she enjoyed every minute, every hour, every kiss, touch, stroke, of their moment last night. She was starting to feel guilty about it for the obvious reason. Yes, Chadwick and Monica were not on good terms right now. She knew that their marriage was on the brink of failure, but at the end of the day, he's still married. He still has a child on the way, and what if after some time apart, Chadwick decides he wants to make things work and try again with Monica? She wasn't sure how she'd be able to deal with that, because it seems like her feeling for him had gone to a completely different place and developed really quickly, because of their incredible, but completely impulsive night together.
Amina sighed, and softly turned over and got out of the bed. She grabbed her clothes and quietly tip-toed out of the room, closing the door. She walked into her bedroom and into the bathroom and ran herself a bubble bath, because she was feeling extremely sore.
Sex was something she hadn't had in years, and the way Chadwick was stretching her and moving her around, it was no surprise that she was sore. When she got into the tub, to soak for a little bit, she checked her phone and saw she had a text from Carter.
Hey, I was wondering if I could come see Nova today? - Carter
Yeah, she's over at the Simon's right now. I'm going to go pick her up in about an hour or so. I'll let you know when we get back home -Amina
She put her phone down, sinked down into the tub some more, getting comfortable, and closed her eyes for a couple of minutes. She was thinking about what to say to Chadwick, if she should say anything, and how she should say it. The last thing she wanted was for things to be awkward, or for their friendship to be ruined. She also didn't want to be a mistress or a mistake he made, because he's hurting from his wife's affair. She knew eventually they would have to talk about it, but she wasn't sure when was the right time.
There was a knock at the bathroom door, that interrupted her thoughts. "Come in..."
The door opened and Chadwick walked in, shirtless with sweatpants on, holding a mug. "I made you some of your favorite tea."
"Thank you.." She said, giving him a small smile. He gave her the tea, and their hands touched, making them stare at each other for a second and smile.
"Yeah..no problem." He said, putting the toilet seat down and sitting down on it. "How are you doing?"
"I'm good...a little sore, but...I'm fine." She said and they both chuckled.
"Sorry about that...I guess I was literally aggressive." He said and she nodded her head.
"Yeah, but...I didn't mind it...I actually kind of liked it." She smirked, before taking a sip from her tea.
"I just wanted to say...I don't regret anything about last night. I really enjoyed everything about it." He said, and Amina was trying her hardest to hide her smile.
