Allison has gone loco just like her grandfather and aunt. Werewolves are in more danger than ever because of them. Tomorrow is the full moon again and I think I can control myself better this time. Derek hasn't been as flirty with me lately but Isaac sure has been.
"Hey heather." he smiled as he came to sit with me at lunch.
"Hello Isaac," I replied.
"What are you doing tonight?" he asked.
"Studying like always," I sighed.
"Well um can I study with you?" he questioned with a hopeful look.
"Isaac, we don't have any of the same classes," I let out a small laugh.
"Oh right." he scowled.
"You want to come over and watch a movie or something?" I asked. His face lit up.
"I'd love to," he nodded. "7 o'clock?"
"Sounds great, i'll text you my address right now." I smiled as I pulled out my phone. I noticed I had a text from Derek but I ignored it until I sent Isaac what he needed. I brought the text back up and read it.
"Hey, just wondering what you were up to. Talk to you later". Odd, he never texts me socially. Ill text him back later.
*later that evening*
Isaac knocked on the door and I answered. Luckily, but not surprisingly, my father is out tonight. He smiled as I led him to my room and he plopped on the bed.
"What movie are we going to watch?" he asked. I held up Thor. Thor is one of my favorites if you haven't noticed. "Looks good to me" he smiled. I put it in but heard a knock on my bedroom door. I gave Isaac a confused look but opened anyway. Derek stood in front of me holding a bag of popcorn.
"Am I late for the movie?" he asked. He pushed past me and sat next to Isaac on my bed.
"Late, no. uninvited, yes." I snapped.
"Well you didn't text me back earlier so I was worried but then Isaac said it was movie night so I figured I'd come," he smiled. Isaac gave an apologetic look.
"Derek, I don't think it was meant as an invite.. plus you don't even like this movie," I sighed.
"Sure I do," he lied. I got a bit annoyed. To make matters worse, my fathers truck swerved into the driveway and I heard the front door slam shut. Derek's body got tense and so did Isaac's as I'm sure he could smell the alcohol. I sure could. He stumbled up the stairs to my room.
"Hey whore. two guys at once? really? even your mom wasn't that much of a slut," he slurred. I felt the anger boil up inside me. Derek grabbed my arm and gave me a stern look. I yanked my arm free and turned my attention back to my father.
"Leave right now," I said.
"No, this is my house. you leave," he told me.
"Leave... now," I seethed again. I wanted nothing more than for him to be gone. "Right now!" I shouted at him and placed a hand on his shoulder to push him. He was staring into my eyes and he looked mesmerized. "Leave," I said again and this time he turned and went down the stairs. I heard the front door open and close, then his truck veered out of the driveway.
"How did you do that?" Isaac asked.
"Do what?" I said sitting back down.
"Your eyes, they turned pink-ish and he looked totally mesmerized. Then he just listened to you." he replied with an astonished look.
"She has the power to compel people," Derek said. We both looked at him confused. "She can make people do whatever she wants basically only if she touches them. With practice she will be able to without touching"
"That's cool," I smiled.
"That's scary," Isaac mumbled. I smirked at him and held his wrist tightly. I looked into his eyes and willed in my mind for him to dance. He immediately got up and started doing the chicken dance. Derek started laughing. I touched him again to make him stop. "Dude... never do that again,"
"Just sit down and watch the movie," I laughed. He huffed and complied without me working my magic. Derek sat between us and slung his arm around my shoulder. I eventually fell asleep like that, safe with my boys.
