Tonight is my first full moon and I'm nervous as hell. I met up with my pack at the bus depo and Derek showed us what we would be tied up with. They looked plain painful.
"I thought you were going to teach us control!" Isaac said.
"There wasn't any time," Derek snapped. He brought us into an old bus and chained us up. Erica and I had nails basically screwed into our heads. Blood trickled down over my nose and Derek wiped it away. I didn't feel like I wanted to kill anyone so I don't see why this is necessary. Erica and Boyd started to change and so did Isaac. I felt an odd feeling tear through me as I felt my claws grow. I saw my reflection in the window and my eyes were magenta but then turned to yellow. A sharp pain shot through me and I fell to the ground. My arms and legs became smaller and I could feel my entire body change. My nose extended into a snout and my ears changed too. The next time I saw my reflection I was a full wolf. Derek was staring at me and I charged at him. The chain around my waist pulled me back but the others had fallen off with my change in size. Erica and Boyd broke free of their restraints and Isaac went AWOL. the chain around my waist wouldn't give but Erica got close enough for me to bite her. She screamed and turned to me. Before she had time to attack she was hit down by Isaac. Derek and Isaac chained Erica and Boyd back up then turned to me. I know these guys, I like these guys, but man do I wanna kill these guys. I snapped and snarled at them when they tried to get close.
"Heather, find your anchor. control it." Isaac said to me. I looked at Derek who's eyes glowed red. Even with red eyes I still saw that innocent boy. My anger went down and I laid on the floor and whimpered. Derek cautiously came over and put a hand on my head. "Good doggy," Isaac laughed. I bared my teeth to him and the smile was instantly replaced by fear.
"You both found your anchor, what was it?" Derek asked. Isaac told him it was pain, from his father. I couldn't talk so I tried to focus on changing back. I thought of Derek and focused all of my will on changing to human or even half wolf like the rest. I felt my body shifting back but I was colder than before.
"Um yeah she's naked," Isaac cleared his throat awkwardly. I looked down and covered my body quickly. Derek took off his jacket and wrapped it around me.
"Why was I a wolf? a literal wolf?" I asked with my body shaking.
"It just happens sometimes, it means you're powerful, you have a lot more potential than expected," Derek answered me.
"Do I always have to be a wolf? like... can I change like you guys can whenever I want?" I asked.
"I'm not sure. what was your anchor?" Derek asked again. I blushed and looked down.
"I-I don't know," I mumbled.
"Liar... ill give you one guess," Isaac winked at Derek. I snarled again and my claws grew out. I looked down at them and they retracted. "Someone's sensitive,"
"Shut up," I sighed. Derek chained us back up in case we tried anything else. The rest of the night was calm.
