Part 14

"Ace," I felt Matt shaking me awake. "Yeah?" I fluttered my eyes open. He smiles and kissed my lips.

"Is that all you wanted?" I smiled. He nods. I punch his shoulder. He laughs and gets up. I follow him and walk out to the Pit, still in our sleeping clothed.

"Whats up?" Josh smiled at me. "Hey Josh." I smiled as he tossed me a muffin. I smile and look down at it. "Chocolate?" I asked him.

Matt takes the muffin from my hand and bites it. He shakes his head. "Its blueberry." he handed it back to me.

I push it away. "Im allergic to blueberries." I turned the other way.

Josh winces. "Here. This ones chocolate." he said and tossed another one to me. "Thanks." I looked at the muffin before bitting into it.

"Everyone! Fear simulations are in five minutes!" Eric yelled from his room. His eyes meet mine and I look down at the floor.

"Ace! Josh! Mason! Dustin! Griffin!" Eric called. Josh and I step up with three other not bad looking guys. "Good job." he said looking down at me before walking back into his room.

Mason, Josh, Griffin, Dustin, and I all look at each other before walking back to our spots. "I guess you get the easy way out of this." Matt whispered to me.

"Don't take it like that!" I whined. "Its not my fault Im you know what." I whispered back to him.

He shakes his head. "Its just... not fair." he sat on a bench.

"Not fair?!" I crossed my arms. "You know whats not fair?! Having you're own faction trying to kill you for being different. And Im not talking about being gay, oh no! Im talking about being Divergent!" I whispered and looked at him, angry and disappointed in him for thinking I have it "easy".

I walk into the dorms and change into a rust red V-neck shirt, black jeans, and black shoes as everyone started to wake up.

"Fear simulations are in a few minutes... Eric doesn't want to wait." I told everyone and walked out.

We all meet in the waiting room and Four calls us just like yesterdays lineup.

"Why do you think Eric called out the five of us?" a brunette guy with hazel eyes walked sat next to me. "What was your time yesterday?" I asked him. "Around three minutes." he said. "I guess he was congratulating us on our times." I said. "How do you know?" "I was Erudite for a reason." I smiled. He laughs. "You're pretty cool. We should talk more." he smiled and left.

If I made him like me, Im going to kill myself because I do not need three guys right now.

Simon walks out, assisted again. What the hell is his fear?

"Josh. You're up." Four said and Josh walked in. "Wheres Matt?" I looked around at the initiates and see him with Emit. I clench my jaw looking at them. Emit laughs and Matt puts his hand on Emits leg. I raise an eyebrow at them. "Do they not see me?!" I asked.

I hate it when they're together. I always have. Ever since I first introduced them to each other.

Minutes later, Josh walked out and Four calls in Matt.

After the door closes behind him, I walk up to Emit. "What the hell are you doing?" I crossed my arms looking down at him. "What are you talking about?" he asked. "Why are you flirting with Matt?!" I almost yelled and everyone in the waiting room turns to us.

"You guys are-" "Shut up, Emit!" I cut him off. "You know well enough that were dating!"

He smiled at the floor. "I can't help it if your so called "boyfriend" likes me more." he smirked. "You're really gonna talk to me like that?!" I popped my knuckles.
