Cute boy and new girl

Chapter 6

•Tara's POV•

I take a look around the gigantic house. Well.. MY gigantic house. This is awesome, I'm actually pretty happy now. Daniella's and my rooms are upstairs. I check the time because I had forgotten to check it a while ago, it is 5:23 PM.My dad told us that we have separate rooms. "Yasssss" Daniella and I say like Ricky Dillon. We go running upstairs and check them out. "I call this one" I say pointing to the one with the big crystal window. I walk over to my new room meanwhile Daniella walks to hers.I look out the window and say "Woah.There's a huge and beautiful lake!" Wow. North Carolina isn't bad at all. I'm still going to keep in touch with all my friends from Cali. And I'm also pretty sure it won't be hard for me to find friends. You see, the thing I like about myself is that I'm not antisocial at all! I'm a party person, talkative person(but not in the annoying way like many others) and I'm also pretty funny and chill. So I'm sure I'll make a lot of new friends really quick. I am sure that I will LOVE IT here.

•Daniella's POV•

"I call this one" says Tara. I roll my eyes because she got the room with the huge window. So I just walk over to my new room. I enter and it seems like a what ever room. No, It didn't have a huge window like Tara's. But then I notice a big old curtain on a window.i did not like the curtain at all so I was obviously going to throw it in the trash. I start getting closer to the window But realize that it looks more like some doors, not just a window. I walk over to it and remove the dusty curtain. I put it on the floor for me to throw it away. But the second I take off the curtain, I see that there is no windows at all. I just see some big crystal doors. And right outside of it, there is a balcony! OMG now MY room is TOTALLY better than Tara's. And it's even a bonus! Because if you go to the balcony and look to the left, there's a view to the beach. Tbh I didn't know there was a beach over here in North Carolina. But that gives me another good reason to love it here! The beach was beautiful and it seemed pretty close to our house. And in front of my balcony there is another house with a balcony. It was about 4 yards away from each other. So they were pretty close. I try to look through the inside of the room and I see some letters stuck on the wall. They were "BHG" Mhhhh.. I wonder what they stand for. They were maybe some initials or something. "Girls come downstairs! We are going grocery shopping we will meet you in the car," says my mom. Me and Tara go downstairs with a huge smile on our face. We get in the car and my dad starts driving. "So are you guys liking it here?" Says my dad. "Yes we love it!" Me and Tara say. The UHAUL people stay at my house so they could put everything down and in the right place. When we finish grocery shopping we drive back to our home.

We get home and I go upstairs and unpack the important stuff. I take off my make up with some make up wipes. I also take off my contacts and after, take a quick shower. I get out and put on a comfy shirt, crocs, and some sweatpants. I start looking for my glasses. But I can't find them. "Ehh what ever" I say to myself(I can't see that much though. Specially from far away. All I see is blurriness.) I go downstairs to prepare myself some cereal. I was eating my cereal while checking Instagram. I liked some pictures and closed the app. Then I took a selfie and post it On snapchat saying " I actually like it here in NC😌" I close the app and start finishing up my cereal.

*DING!DONG!*

Someone rings the doorbell and I go running to my parents room. "Mom! Dad! Someone just ra-" I notice they are sleeping and I didn't want to wake them so I just decide I should open the door myself. I get to the door and I open it. The first thing I see, is a brunette lady with a pie on her hands. By her side, there's a little blonde girl with big greenish eyes. I see the little girl carrying a basket full of candy and sweets.There is also another guy kind of far away from my door talking on the phone. I couldn't really see who it was since I wasn't wearing my glasses. I just know that he looked like my age. And I THINK he has blue eyes. He looked pretty hot tbh as far as I can see. He might not be hot because I'm like super blind and can't really see but idk maybe he is😏 I can't really see that much honestly."Hi!" I say with a loud voice. "Hello, my name is Elizabeth Grier. Sorry to bother you, I know it's late and maybe your parents are already asleep, but I just wanted to come and welcome you and your family." Says the lady, which apparently her name is Elizabeth. "Oh it's It's fine" I say while giggling a bit. "Nice meeting you Mrs.Grier, my name is Daniella." I say as I lean a little forward to shake her hand. "Pretty name! And you don't have to call me Mrs.Grier. You can just call me Elizabeth if you want" she says while we laughing.She then gives me the pie and and takes away the basket from the little girl and give it to me. I put it down on the table right next to the door and I suddenly hear a voice saying, "And I am Skylynn!" She said it really sassy honestly. But it was super cute. "She is so adorable! I love kids that are cute like her!" I say laughing and touching her head. Elizabeth smiles and says while turning around to the outside, "And this is Hayes my son." Us 3 turn around and don't see anyone. "Maybe he went to our house or something" says Skylynn. "Anyways, so you like kids huh?" Asks Elizabeth smirking. "Yes I love to be around kids"I respond. "Oh, in that case, do you think you could maybe babysit Skylynn this Friday? Me and and my husband are going to a dinner because it's his boss' birthday. I'll pay you 10 bucks per hour. So what do you think?how old are you by the way?" I obviously couldn't say no. And besides I'm gonna get moneyyyy, "Yes of course I can! I am 13, and I will just have to tell my parents which I'm pretty sure they will let me." I respond. "Great! Do you have any other siblings that might want to go too? And don't worry you won't be all alone, my 16 year old son,Nash, and my other 13 year old son,Hayes,are also going to be in the house. it's just that I don't really trust them taking care of Skylynn" she says while laughing. I laugh a bit too. "Yes I do have another sibling. She is my sister and is 16." I answer still laughing.

"Great! Tell her to come too if she can. Well, see you on Friday then?" She asks with a huge smile on her face. "Yes of course! Aaaand... where do you live?" I ask. "Oh! Yeah sorry I forgot to mention that haha! I live right here to the right. Right next to you." "Okay great! See you Friday then! Bye Elizabeth! Bye Skylynn! Thank You for the pie and the basket " I say as I wave at them "Your welcome! byee!" They both say at the same time. They are so sweet! I lock the door and I go running to my room because I'm tired af! I get to my room and jump to bed. I start thinking about how my life here in North Carolina will turn out. I then start to get sleepier and sleepier every second. I start closing my eyes more and more.... And then, sleep took over my body.
