Chapter 18

•Daniella's POV•

I wake up to the sunlight from the balcony hitting my face. I lay in bed thinking. What will happen today? What are Hayes and I doing today? I don't even know, we'll just wing it like ways lol. I finally have the energy to get up, and look at the clock; wtf? It's 3:23pm? Woah..I wonder why my parents didn't wake me up. And I also wonder why I slept so much. Maybe it was just because I was too tired from the party yesterday. I go straight to my restroom, and take a shower. I then get out, and put on some comfy clothes. I put on some sweat pants, a spaghetti strap shirt, and some crocs. I check the time now, and it's 4:57, I then go downstairs and go to the kitchen. I find a Mc.Donald's bag on the counter. I go up to it and open it. There's some French fries, and a Big Mac. I see a little note attached to it. "Daniella, I bought some food for you! The coke is in the fridge, I noticed you were asleep and didn't want to wake you up. Your dad and I went grocery shopping for today's dinner. We'll be back like at 6. The Grier's are coming over at 7. Dress nicely! Hope you like the food!-Mom" it read. I then run upstairs straight to my room and get my phone, and go back downstairs. I get the coke from the fridge and sit down and start eating. while I'm eating, I scroll down Instagram and like some pictures. I go to the popular page, and find some pictures of the "Magcon Boys." I like some of those, and then close the app. I then decide to text Hayes.

Idk why, but I suddenly started calling him my boo, and he likes it. So I always call him that. Should I change his contact name as boo now? Yasss. I change it and then I finish eating, and realize it's 5:52. I open my eyes widely, I only have about 1 more hour to get ready! Since they are getting here at 7. I run upstairs, and charge my phone. Since my hair is already dry, I just brush it, and then braid it. I do my make up, and curl my eyelashes with a metal spoon. It's way better than just with a regular curler. I put a little extra mascara, and then I put on my blush and concealer. I put lipgloss on, and it all took me about 50 minutes. Sometimes I take longer doing my make up than getting dressed and doing my hair. And I guess today was one of those days.I then put on some denim jeans and a red with white tank top. I then go downstairs, and see my parents are already here. I give them a big kiss on the cheek, and then go upstairs. I clean my room a bit, incase Hayes comes in. The Grier's are going to be here any minute, so I grab my phone and go downstairs. I help my mom a little bit with the table. We won't be eating in like about 2 hours or less, but we get it ready so it could look neat/nice. My mom and Elizabeth are so close already, and also my dad and their dad. They are all like best friends or something. And that actually makes me happy. *Ding Dong* I hear the doorbell ring, and both my parents and I go up to the door. I see Elizabeth holding her delicious homemade pie, and chad holding little sky.(guys I'm just going to use the name chad, idk if they are together or not; but I never understood the thing between their marriage haha!) I say hi to them and greet them. I give sky a little kiss on the tip of her nose, she is so cute. And I then see Hayes behind them; smiling. Just staring at me like if we were playing a staring contest. I then go up to him and hug him. We were hugging for like 20 seconds. When sky says,"alright love birds, you can stop hugging now." We both laugh and then go upstairs. We go to my room first, to choose a movie to watch in the tv room. We choose harry potter, and go to the room. We both sit on the couch, and he holds my hand. We smile at each other, and just cuddle. The movie took so long to finish. But I liked it since I was with Hayes. I honestly wamt to be something else between him, we have been talking for 1 month and 2 days already, and he still hasn't asked me out. I sometimes wonder if he is just using me to make out with me or something like that. I don't think so, but he is taking pretty long. At least we are better than Sophie and John. They have been talking for 8 months already and are still not even going out. God bless them. Aha I'm not even kidding, when they grow up they are never dating anyone. They are both too shy with each other. No one even knows why they are still talking. we then decide to watch Netflix. "Can we please watch Teen Wolf?" I ask. "No! That's stuff is for girls," he says while laughing. "Please? I really want to watch it!" I say as I grap my arms around him so I could try to convince him a little more. "Fine!" He finally says. "Yay!" I say while kissing him on the cheek. I put on teen wolf, and I'm on the part where there is something wrong with Stiles. Ahh I swear, I cannot get over Dylan O' Brien's hotness. He is one of the hottest guys on earth. He is just perfect. We watch like 3 episodes, and Hayes actually liked it. "Food is ready!" My mom says from downstairs, we put pause and go running downstairs. We sit on the table and it's really awkward since only parents are here. Well and Skylynn but it's different. I miss Tara already. Right now it wouldn't be awkward at all of she was here. Time passes by so fast, that it's time for the Grier's to leave. It's 12, and both our parents drank a little too much. We all say bye to them, and Hayes comes up to me from behind, he then graps his arms around my stomach. I just love it when boys come up to girls like that. "I really enjoyed this day! I can't wait for you to be with me for almost the whole summer!" Hayes says while giving me a kiss on my forehead. "Me either," I say. They all leave, and my parents and I start cleaning up the kitchen. My parents are leaving tomorrow morning, so they go to sleep as soon as we finish cleaning up. I stay up a little late, so I could pack for the Grier's house. When I'm done, I go to my balcony hoping Hayes would be awake so we could talk. I look at the stars, and I notice Hayes lights are turned off, so I decide not to call him. I stay there for about 10 minutes thinking about life. When I get tired, I go inside my bedroom and close the balcony. I lay in my bed, and put my phone down on the little cabinet that I have next to my bed. I then get sleepier and sleepier, until sleep took over my body.
