•Daniella's POV•

*Last Day Of School*

*BEEP!BEEP!BEEP!* my alarm wakes me up like always. I stay in bed for about 3 minutes, and realize that it's the last day of school. It passed by so fast! I then finally have the energy to get up, and go to the restroom. I do my usual morning routine, and then get dressed. I put on a black tank top, with some black high wasted shorts, and white converse. I then straighten my long hair, and do a little braid and pin it to the side. I then go downstairs and eat a bagel. I go upstairs again go get my backpack and phone. Then, Tara and I go to her car so she could drive us to school. We jam out to Summertime Sadness. When we get to school we separate and go with our group of friends. I go with my clique and see a lot of boys there too, Including hayes. I go up to him a give him a kiss on the cheek. he grabs my waist and turns me around, he then just puts his arms around me. I want to stay like this forever. All of us just talk about random stuff. Then the bell rings and we go to first period. I don't know where Hazel is, so I just talk to Hayes the whole Time. "My parents are going to Las Vegas for like 3 weeks. That means I'm getting to spend more time with you!" I say winking at him. "Yasss! And maybe you could stay over at my house?" He says. Okay I'm sorry, but that's just weird. Haha. Like staying over at a GUYS house. The guy that you are talking to. I don't even know if my parents will even let me stay over. It's not like if we are going to do anything anyways. We are just 13!(remember that Hayes is 13 in the story) "Yeah maybe," I reply. School passes by so fast. And we are at last period. "30 more seconds for us to leave this prison." I tell Hayes while laughing. he start laughing and we keep waiting. *Beeeep* the bell rings and everyone gets out of the classroom. The teacher is talking but no one really paid attention. She says"Bye everyone have a great summer! Don't forget to keep reading!" "Fuck that shit," Hayes says while I'm just cracking up. We go near Tara's car, and next to it there's Nash's. "See you later?" Hayes asks me while grabbing my chin. "yep!" I say while he leans over and kisses me. I go to Tara's car and tell her to hurry up Because she kept on talking to Nash. she finally walks over and hops in. She starts driving and she Tells me, " okay Daniella! So Nash invited me to stay in a cabin with him and some friends for a week or two, will you be ok with that? " she explains. Mom and dad are going to be out of town. We'll just figure something out later."Yeah that's fine, when are you leaving?" I ask. "In a hour,"I reply. That's too fast. But I just decide to say "okay!" And before I know it, were home. We walk inside, and first thing Tara does, is go to my parents room. I go to my room to leave my backpack. When Tara calls me out. "Come downstairs! Mom and dad need to talk to us." We both go downstairs and my dad says, "Okay girls, like we said yesterday, your mom and I are going to Las Vegas for 3 weeks. But since Tara is going to the cabin now, maybe Daniella has to go to Cali." I don't want to go to Cali! I want to stay here with Hayes. I then have a sad look on my face. I don't think I have another option. Where would I stay? I'm pretty sure my parents won't let me stay over at the Grier's. "What about her staying at the Grier's?" Tara asks while winking at me. I don't know if they will let me. But a huge smile appears on My face. Let's just give it a try and see what my parents say. "Well.. yeah maybe! I already know Elizabeth really well, so I don't think there will be a problem." My mom says. "Yeah they are nice people!" my dad adds. It's so weird that they are letting me stay at a boys house. I think it's just so they won't have to drive me all the way to Cali and then go to Las Vegas. But that's pretty cool that they are letting me stay here! It's fucking weird tho. "Okay! But lets invite them to our house to eat dinner tomorrow!" My mom says. She is right. That's the most we can do to say thank you. We all agree, but Nash and Tara won't be able to be here. I go upstairs and get ready for the party. I redo my make up and curl the tips of my hair. Elizabeth is going to take Hayes and I to the party. When I'm ready, I text Hayes.

I get my Michael Korse bag and stand by the door. I just scroll down Instagram and like some pictures. Until I get a text from Hayes.

I get out of my house and hop into the car. "Hi Elizabeth!" I say while smiling at her. I kiss Hayes on the cheek. "Hey sweetie! How have you been?" Elizabeth asks. "Good!" I answer. "your mom asked me if you could stay with us. Of course you can!" Elizabeth says. I see Hayes with a. Huge smile on his face. "Yes, thank you!" "Okay so where exactly is the house?" She asks. "It's like 7 minutes away from here I think." Hayes replies. We start driving until we get to the party. "Goodbye love birds be safe and don't do anything stupid!" Elizabeth says while laughing. "Mooom!" Hayes says in an embarrassed way. Both our families know that we are talking. But it's better so they could give us permission. We get down from the car, and enter hazels backyard. There is tons of people here. The party was really good. There was food, a DJ, and food again. Oh! And also.. Food! It's really fun! And we are all dancing and the guys are playing basketball like always. I was with my friends the whole entire time. After like 2 hours, I was alone sitting on a bench at the corner Because I was really tired. I was just scrolling down Instagram. I suddenly feel someone grap their arms around me. I turn around and figured it was Hayes. "i knew it was you," I say. He laughs and he leans over to me. he then gets up and sticks out his hand so he could grab mine. He pulls me up from the bench, and takes me more to the corner. I'm kind of nervous of what he is planning to do. He then puts his hand on my cheek and asks me, "Daniella, why are you so beautiful?" I blush a little bit and then say"Im not," I say while laughing. "Yes you are."He then starts leaning over, him putting his hands around my waist/near my butt. I hope he doesn't go farther down from where his hand is right now. I like him and everything, but I'm just 13! If someone sees us, I don't want them calling me a slut. So Yeahh... Anyways, he then leans over and we both start kissing really slow. "I love you" Hayes says. "I love you too," I reply. I then put my hands around his neck, and he still has his hands the way they were at the beginning. We kiss very slowly for about a minute. But then, things start to get a little pushy. He starts making out with me, almost putting his whole mouth in mine(jk guys, its a metaphor) but we keep kissing hard. It went on for 7 minutes straight. The feeling was amazing. Then, the pizza is finally here. "I'll go get us some pizza. Stay here!" I say. I go and make line. I then get the cokes and start walking back. I start going back to where we were. I finally found him, but he wasn't alone. I finally got to see who it was. And of course it would be her; Jordan. I thought she wasn't going to be here. I see her getting closer to him. She grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him over to her, she was kissing him. But he pushed her away, HARD. I see him telling her something, really mad.I then go over with the cokes and the plates still on my hand and say, "Jordan get the fuck out of here. Or just go the fuck away from us. Don't you know he doesn't like you? He likes me. And we are talking. And we love each other. And I'm not going to let you come in, and just ruin our relationship, Get that through your fucking little head already." Hayes smiles at me. She rolls her eyes and walks away. I then give Hayes his plate and coke and put mine on the floor. I sit down on the bench,and I feel tears running down my face. I know it's not his fault, but still. Why would Jordan just come in like this? I hate her so much! "that was amazing." Hayes says to me while wiping off my tears. "What are you talking about?" I ask with my crying voice. "You telling off Jordan. She didn't even know what to say. Thank you Daniella for defending me. And if you are mad at me, don't be. because I pushed her away. please don't be mad at me." Hayes says while holding my hand and looking at me straight in the eyes."im not. She went into you, and you pushed her away. It's okay, in just afraid she will get you back and you leaving me alone.." I say looking down. "I will never do that to you Daniella. I love you." he says. We both look a teach other, and I get closer to him and rest my head on his shoulder.
