Chapter 13

•Hayes' POV•

*Sunday*

Daniella is really upset at me, and I need to make it up to her. I have to do something special at school, it would be perfect. I put on a hoodie and flip flops, I grabbed my phone and $50 and walked down stairs. Yes. $50, that's how much I love Daniella. And I really want to take her back. Even though we never dated. "Where you going?" Nash asks. "Just to stop and shop for a sec, tell mom!" I reply. "Okay" he says. I walk out the door and walked to stop and shop. It was very close, so it only took five minutes. I walk in and go right to what I need. While I'm picking out the stuff, I hear someone whisper something into my ear. "Awe babe is all that for me?" I turn around to see Jordan. "Jordan stay the fuck away from me! I fucking told you that I hate you! Get that through your fucking little brain." I yell. "Maybe it doesn't have to be like that" she leans in and starts kissing me, but I can't let this happen again. I push her off of me and walk to the cash register. I pay super quick and leave away from that bitch. I kinda ran home because I wanted to get away fast. I opened the door to my house and smell fresh dinner. I go upstairs to my room and put the bag away. I eat dinner and go to sleep! ready for what's going to happen at school tomorrow.

*Monday*

My alarm goes off and I take a quick shower and put of some shorts and a t-shirt. I put some axe so when I do the surprise for Daniella, so she could hug me and think about how good I smell. Or At least I hope...I get the stuff I bought last night and carefully put them in my backpack. "Hayes come on we don't wanna be late" Nash yells. "Sorry coming" I reply. We walk out side and hop in to Nash's car and start to drive. I was on my phone the whole time so it was quiet except for some music playing. It's about a 4 minute drive so we wouldn't be late. When I get to school I put my back pack in my locker carefully and grab my books and go to my 1st period. The teacher calls roll. I sit in front of Daniella, and I told her something, but tbh, she gave me a total burn. It's okay tho, I have my plan to apologize. I ask the teacher to "go to the nurse." But I just skip that class and second period. I hide in the bathroom and 2nd period comes (Daniella is also in this class) and I need to start setting up everything. I go to my locker and get everything that I need, I start to set it up and I guess I missed third period also! Oh well, I don't really care. I'm doing this for Daniella. I text my friend jake Because he has this period with Daniella also.

Me: hey bro could you tell Daniella to come outside? her friend "Hazel" wants to see her.😏 don't tell her I told you tho.

Jake: Sure I am not even gonna ask why😳

Hayes: thanks and it's not what you think😂

I see Daniella come out of her class and she sees everything. She has the opens her eyes widely, and has the biggest smile on her face.

•Daniella's POV•

I wake up, it's a Monday morning, which means that I'm going to school. And I'm literally going to see Hayes the whole entire day, since I have EVERY SINGLE CLASS with him. Ughh why? I ignore it, and go to the restroom to start getting ready. I start straightening my hair and curling the tips. Which I totally love how it looks on me. Today, I want to look extra pretty to show Hayes that he did the wrong thing to the wrong girl. So I do my make up, same thing as always, a little bit of concealer and blush, and mascara. I decide to put lipgloss, so I do. After that, I go to my closet and put on one of the prettiest tank tops that I have. It is black, with white little crystals all over. And then I put some denim high waisted shorts, with my white converse. Tbh, I look really pretty. When me and Tara are ready, we go downstairs and grab a bagel. When we are done we go brush our teeth, and get out backpacks and phone from our rooms. Then we get on Tara's car so she could take us to school. We get to school and Tara tells me "everything will be okay. Remember to not be too harsh" she says while I smile. I then go with my "clique" and they hug me and tell me really sweet things. The bell rings and me and hazel walk together to first period. I think hazel is like my best friend from all of them tbh. We walk into the class and I see Hayes. He is sitting on his desk, Which is right in front of mine. I feel him staring at me, but I just keep walking. Me and hazel go to outs desks. Then, when the teacher calls hazel to the help her out with paperwork, she goes. And I'm just there, sitting alone, with Hayes in front of me. I can't stop thinking about our kiss at the lake. But I also can't stop thinking about his and Jordan's kiss. I then see him turn around. Saying "okay Daniella, I know you might not want to talk to me ever again, but I promise, I will make it up to you. And I will do everything to get you back," "you know Hayes, I honestly thought you were the one. You were my first kiss. And I know I sound so lame saying this. But Hayes, I honestly can't believe you were my first kiss. It was a waste of time. And I can't believe I let you lead me on like that." I say as I turn around. he doesn't answer, neither do I. I turn around and just continue doing some of my work that I handy finished last week. He then also turns around. After like 30 minutes, Hayes raises up his hand saying "Teacher! Can I go to the nurse? I don't feel well.." He says. The teacher let's him and he never comes back. I go to 2nd period, and he's also not there. Same thing with 3rd period. I have Alayna in that class. She is also one of my best friends. We start talking, when suddenly, my friend jake tells me, "hey Daniella! Hazel wants to see you outside!" "Okay thanks!" I say. I ask the teacher to "go to the restroom" and she let's me. I go outside and I can't believe what I'm seeing. I see Hayes holding some flowers and chocolates. He is also holding a poster that says "I'm sorry." and he is standing in the middle of some rose pedals formed in a heart shape. Wow did was amazing. All this, he did it for me? I open my mouth and eyes widely. I still can't believe a guy would do this to "get me back" even though we never dated. This is perfect. How can I not be mad at him? Yes, I'm still a little mad. But I'm going to give him a second chance. I go up to him and give him a huge hug. "Daniella I'm so sorry! I'll explain everything that you want later in lunch. I promise I will never do this again. Daniella! I love you, okay? And I was the saddest person alive when I knew you got hurt by me. And I'm so sorry for that." He says while tearing up. "It's okay Hayes! Don't worry about it. You still have to explain to me tho! Thank you so much for this." I say while still hugging. He gives me all the stuff and I go and put it on my locker. He comes with me. And we both walk to class. I know he hurt me, but he is really trying and he really cares about me. I'm going to give him another chance obv. Lunch comes and he tells me everything. "I understand that very guy wants to make out with girls, but please don't ever do it again." I say. "I won't! I promise I won't Daniella! You have no idea how much I love you. I need to tell you something, And maybe this is very embarrassing, but I want you to know.i cried for hours when that happened. I couldn't stand you being mad at me. I kept on thinking and thinking for the perfect idea. And I'm really happy it turned out like this. Daniella, I love you." Hayes says while holding back his tears. " thank you! And I love you too." When school ends I get home. I tell everything to Tara and she is really happy for me. I decide to tell my parents also. I tell them everything, and I think now is the time to tell them about Hayes. I know we are not dating, but still.. I tell them, and they just tell me to be careful with him. I then eat very fast, and go upstairs to my room. I go to snapchat and post a picture on my story. It says "Day made.❤️"
