Vixarius Formation II, Avian Village
Milli stared at one of the crates, having her eyes wide open. She faints and falls on the floor.
"Holy crap, Milli?!" Asukinai called out to her.
"Milli? Are you okay?!" Sineeda calls out as well.
Milli heard all of this, but her hearing was fading. She soon passed out and slept.
"Shit..." Ethyl cups his hand on her forehead. "Milli..."
He looks up at one of the children. "Do you know where they were headed?" He asked.
"Y-Yes, sir..." One of the older children nervously replied. "That way..." The child pointed over to a smoke trail.
"Right, thank you." Ethyl nodded and took the Milli's bag that contained the avolite that led them there before standing up.
"Asuki, bring her back to the ship!" He commanded. "Sineeda, come with her and take the kids along with you!"
"Alright." Sineeda nodded, before walking over to Milli and carrying her on his back.
Asuki had a concered face for a bit, but then sighs and relaxes. "Okay... I can handle this." She thought, before signalling the children to follow her. She takes a deep breath then follows Sineeda after.
"By the way, Sineeda!" Ethyl calls out to him.
"Yes?" Sineeda replied. Finally, he has... almost... stopped hissing.
"Lock the doors to the other rooms." Ethyl commanded. "Even the flight deck. They're only allowed to stay in teleporter room and kitchen."
Sineeda nodded and went ahead with Asukinai and the children.
Ethyl started off to the direction where the child pointed at earlier, Raena and Aizo closely followed.
"Wait, why would you lock the other doors?" Raena asked.
"Because they're children, I don't trust them." Ethyl bluntly replied.
"Wow." Aizo commented.
"Enough talk, we have to hurry." Ethyl starts rushing towards the destination.
Later, they have arrived the source of the smoke trail. Raena and Aizo covered their noses and coughed from the smell. Ethyl saw the smoke coming from a pile of Avian corpses that were recently burnt alive. "Stay there, Raena. I don't want your innocent mind corrupted anymore."
Raena glared at him for a bit. "....Okay."
Ethyl pulled a slightly burnt rag from the floor and put it over the corpses. When he did that, he noticed a loose tile. He uses his new gauntlet to move it aside.
