"y/n! c'mon we're going out!" your mum shrieks. you snuggle under the duvet, embracing the warmth
"3,2,1," you count and jump out of bed. you run over to your wardrobe and put on some clothes. you almost knock off the sticky note that said "un armario" which was helping you study for your spanish test. you check your phone one last time, put it in your pocket and run downstairs.
"hi mom!" you say sweetly. your mum wasn't having it,
"get in the car, please," you nod dutifully and jump into your tiny red fiat, aka the tomato. you get out your phone and begin to message gaten.

you : we're going out but i don't wanna ask where my mum is in a really bad mood lol.
you flick off his profile and hop into a very active group chat you were added to

you : hey guys what's popping
y/f/n : hey y/n we're talking about celeb crushes
y/f/n : yeah we are! i can't decide lol
you : neither !
y/f/n : the posters in your room would say otherwise, y/n
y/f/n : oh yeah! she likes that curly haired weirdo
you left the group
you put your phone away when you seen your brother/sister advancing towards the car. they'd make fun of you if they saw any of your recent messages.
"hi sis/bro. how you doing?" they ask. you put up a weak thumbs up.
"do you know where we're going?" you ask. they shrug and look down at their phone.
your mum finally gets in the car after, like, a solid 5 minutes ( !! ) and you set off. about 10 minutes into the journey your phone vibrates and you notice you've received a message.

gatenm123 : no i am an illusion 😂
you : brb just scREAMING
gatenm123 : haha lol
you : how did you find me? ok that sounds creepy
gatenm123 : your notifications sorta came through like every second haha

you : ok im sorry but we've reached our destination! ttyl x
