I was currently sitting in Luke's car, we were on our way to the shopping centre. He picked me up about twenty minutes after the last text message.
The radio was on but we weren't really paying attention. It was only crappy pop music anyway.
"So you ran up the water slide then fell down on a twelve stone woman and broke your arm?" I asked him while laughing.
"Yeah, my brother and I thought it would be funny to run up the water slide but then what happened only gushes of water starts coming down and I fall into a twelve stone woman and then break my arm. It was a good memory." Luke laughed.
"So, tell me about memories you have" Luke said to me.
I thought my hardest to think of some memories that I could share with him. Nothing came to me.
"I actually can't think of anything" I said truthfully.
"Oh come on! You must have some fun memory up there!" He argued.
"Well I remember once my sister and I were in this ice-cream shop place in Perth and my parents were shopping. Emily got like three scoops of chocolate ice-cream and I got three scoops of mint ice-cream but Emily found a peanut in hers and she told the ice-cream lady she was allergic to them so they have us like a free voucher for life" I laughed.
"Was she actually allergic?" Luke asked, sounding amused.
"No, she just said that even though she shouldn't of in case some doctor came rushing in and giving her needles or something" I laughed.
"Oh my god!" Luke laughed.
We sat in a comfortable silence for about three minutes.
"We're here alas" Luke said while stopping his car as taking out his keys.
I unbuckled my seatbelt and made my way out of the car.
Luke and I walked into the massive shopping centre.
I loved shopping here. There was so many shops and little stalls.
"Where would you like to go first?" Luke asked me.
"Forever 21?" I asked hopefully.
"Of course" he said while leading the way to forever 21.
I searched the racks of clothes from top to bottom but nothing seemed appealing.
Yes, I am very fussy when it comes to clothing.
"Find anything you like?" Luke asked me.
"No" I trailed off.
"What about this? It would look nice on you!" Luke told me while holding up a blue floral print top with white lace around the bottom.
"That's actually really nice" I admitted.
"Why don't you get it?" Luke asked.
"You know what I think I will" I told him.
I picked out the right size and took the money out of my purse.
"No, no, no. I picked out the top for you so I'm buying it for you! My treat" Luke smiled.
"Luke, I can't let you do that" I argued against him.
"Please! I want to, you're my friend and I'm just trying to be nice" he said looking rather disappointed that I wouldn't let him buy it.
"Fine then, but I'm buying you something in return!" I told him.
"Thank you!" Luke said while taking the top out of my hands and walking towards the cashier.
We made our way around several more shops. I bought Luke a black beanie since he wouldn't tell me what size he was in clothes. At least I knew the beanie would fit him.
"Want to go get some food?" Luke asked me.
"Sure! Where shall we go?" I asked looking around the food court.
"What about the little Chinese food place?" Luke suggested.
"Yeah! That looks nice!"
We went to the little food stall and bought our food. We sat down at a small table near the back of the food court. We finished our food within half an hour and then decided to start heading home.
...
"I really enjoyed today Luke, thank you!"I told Luke while he began to stop outside my house.
"Same with me Willow, we should hang out again soon. I enjoy your company" Luke laughed while being serious.
"I like your company too!" I told Luke.
"Well, I'll text you later?" Luke said in a questioning tone.
"Sure! See you soon Luke"
I left the car after thanking Luke once again for a great day. I walked into my house with the biggest smile plastered across my face.
I really liked this boy.
