Amber P.O.V.
I was ready to go to high school for my sophomore year. Lifting up the backpack that Aidan bought me from Gap. It was spotted purple, green, and white.
Running through the woods, I arrived at the front of the school, Green Hill High School. Staring with a huge gaped mouth, I noticed Connor getting out of a sleek, black car and heading towards the front of the school. Surely, he doesn't go to this school?!, I thought with panic. This would present a few problems for me. Who was I kidding? This was a huge problem for me.
Going around the other way, I got my schedule and went to my locker.
Connor P.O.V.
Arriving at the stupid school, I stepped out of the car and smelled the best smell in the world.
Mate, my wolf, Simon purred. So Amber went to this school too.
Hmm, I wonder why she ran away from me, I thought.
That's why you have me for this kind of thing, Simon laughed.
Shut up!, I replied but laughed along with him. Heading inside, I noticed her standing in front of her locker, trying to open it without success. I had my locker in the same corridor. What a coincidence, I thought.
"Do you need any help?" I asked her, standing right behind her. Surprised, she turned around and her eyes went as big as saucers. Her wriggling against me did me no good, but I could deal with that later.
"You go to this school too?"she asked with surprise. Silently, she nodded and I focused on her lips. Leaning near her, I pressed my lips against hers, feeling sparks on my lips.
Hearing a gasp, I turned around to see a well built guy with brown hair, staring at us. Giving her an apology, I walked off to the guy's direction and pointed my finger to his chest saying,"Stay away from her! I'm her mate, not you!"
Nodding, he left in silence and glared at me once or twice. She came up to me and softly said in her musical voice,"What happened?"
"Oh, babe, there's nothing to worry about. I just dealt with that guy for you," I explained.
"Oh. You didn't need to say anything. I could have handled it," she huffed. Once again, I stared at her lips and kissed her once again. She moaned into my mouth, setting my brain on fire. I would've kissed her even more of a teacher hadn't come up and we had to break apart.
Heading to our first class which we had together, advanced honours calculus and I noticed that she was very smart and always raised her hand for every answer. It was no suprise that she was in advanced honours math. I only got in because on my tests, I just looked over the nerds' shoulders and copied off of them. There were enough in the class I could do that whereever I sat.
But now, since I met my wonderful mate, I would change my ways for the better.

I loved him and luckily, he was in every one of my classes so I could help him and I could be near him. Just being near him made me happy. It was time for lunch and I almost ran out of history class. That was the only class I was bad at and didn't like. History was the past, not the present and I didn't know why we needed to learn it.
Sitting at a table with Aqua and Connor, I asked why the other two weren't here and she told me they were off shopping for us. At that moment, a skinny slut-looking girl walked over to our table and grabbed Connor and kissed him in front of my eyes.
Pushing her away so her blonde hair flew everywhere, he returned to his seat, glaring at the blonde.
"What's the matter? You usually kiss me,"she whined in a high voice that hurt my eardrums.
"Jasmine, go find someone else. I found my mate and I'm finally happy for once,"spat Connor. He seemed quite mad and frustrated with her. The blonde pouted and glared at me the whole way she left.
Leaning on his shoulder, I asked"Who was that?"
He replied,"One of my ex-girlfriends." He had ex-girl friends? I didn't even have a boyfriend yet."Oh, babe. Don't get jealous. I never cared about her anyway. Do you want to go out with me tonight?"He ended quietly with a paniced look on his face. Did he think I was going to turn him down? No one with a brain would do that.
So I said,"Yes."
