Hey. Sorry for disappearing, but I don't know if I'll be back. For anyone confused on why I was away, it's on my profile discussion board thingy. I dunno if I'll be back? I wanted to make a kinda long one but I don't think it's very good. Sorry :/

The window creaked open with a piercing sound. Whoever was opening it yelped, they must've slipped. The rain pattered down on the concrete outside. At this point, you're probably thinking, "Why isn't she panicking, someone's climbing through her window!" Well, that's how I felt the first couple times. Then more and more it would happen, now it doesn't even faze me. I forced my eyes to open to see the glaring red light of my digital alarm clock shining back at me. Of course it was 3:32 am.
"Psst!" My best friend, whom I sometimes wish wasn't, AJ whispered with his head peaking through my window.
"Go. Away." I growled angrily. I could usually deal with AJ, but not tonight. You see, I had just gotten into a big fight with my other good friend, Nathan Prescott. I'll have to admit, I used to really like him. There's been things flying around the school about Nathan, but surprisingly enough, I'd never encountered any of that. I mean, I spend a lot of my time with him. Since I have such a good friendship with him, I've definitely gained a reputation. Not a good one either.
Victoria sure as hell doesn't like me, which is not a good thing necessarily. I mean I don't think anyone truly likes her, but she's definitely cruel. She and Nathan said awful things about me all the time to each other.
I remember finding out so vividly. My sneakers made a slight squeak sound as I skipped down towards the boy's dorm to meet Nathan. Before I reached my destination, I felt a light tap on my shoulder. When I turned I saw golden locks and the guilty looking face of Taylor Christensen. "I'm so sorry. Can we talk?" My brows furrowed in confusion and my voice was soft as I responded. "Of course, what's up!" My mood dropped slightly as I was now concerned.
"I'll just feel so bad if I don't tell you." She grabbed my hand lightly and sat me under a tree. The tension in the air was thick and I awaited her response. She bit her lip in nervousness and looked around to make sure no one was listening or looking. "Please don't tell anyone that I'm telling you. Please." I just nodded but she shook her head, she needed more conformation. "Promise?"
I smiled as it was very clear how worried she was. Besides, I never liked Victoria anyways. "Promise."
I watched as her lips took a deep breath, "I don't know how to say this, but I heard Nathan and Victoria saying awful things about you." She went into detail about what they said. I'd rather not have to get into that right now.
He'd had a reputation that I had never believed until that moment. Of course I hadn't heard any of the things people were saying about him, it all made sense now. He was manipulating me. Being my friend until he gained my trust and then him and Victoria would say awful things about me. That was probably one of the most humiliating moments of my life.
"[your name]. Let's go. Forget about that little bitch Nathan. We need to get out and distract you!" He exclaimed with way too much enthusiasm considering the time. I felt my motivation to get up wither away despite his upbeat attitude.
"Why can't you just sneak in through the door like a normal person AJ?" I groaned as I curled up and pulled the blanket further over my head. "I go with you every other time, why can't you just let me be sad for once?"
"For the first question, because that's way to much effort. Your window is so close to the ground. Going in through the hallway would take way more time! For the second question, because this one matters the most. I hate seeing you like this." I looked up at his curly dark brown hair. His empathetic blue eyes looked back at me while his lips curved into a 'please just come' expression. I looked up at the ceiling fan, searching for any motivation to get up.
