The next few days was a flurry of activity. The people at CERN wanted to know. The journalists wanted to know. Everyone wanted to know what happened. Eventually after a week or so of this they finally had a chance to talk.
Leela and Jase both gave their whole stories about what happened with Marcus, stopping only to answer questions. Leela and Jase had plotted a plan to take out Marcus before the assassination actually occurred. They just had no opportunity.
Jase carried on explaining that he had been blackmailed by Marcus to work for him otherwise he would have Chris killed. Tears, hugs and celebrations followed this. They were finally able to live normal lives.
Jase, Nick and Chris were all hired by CERN. Jean went to Oxford university to study Chemical engineering to get his masters degree. Leela worked in the UN conference building, working to give underprivileged people the opportunity to gain skills and get good jobs.
Nick and Jase stayed in the dormitories at CERN. As for Chris and Leela.....
They fell in love. They got married and stayed in their own house 5 minutes from CERN.
They started to live happy, normal lives once again. The future looked extremely bright for all of them.
