The next few days for Chris involved a very well thought, very simple schedule.
9:00 - Breakfast
10:00 to 12:00 - Work
12:00 to 13:00 - Lunch
13:00 to 15:00 - Recreational activities (these involved playing cricket or rugby or soccer on the lawn outside.
15:00 to 17:00 - Work
18:00 - DinnerThe three men would eat dinner and then go to one of their rooms to carry on the plan. At first all they did was research prison breaks on one of the computers that Marcus had provided.
"Marcus must be feeling very confident that we won't be able to escape of he's letting us have full reign over this computer. It must be monitored." uttered Nick suspiciously
Chris had been thinking the same thing. He wondered if they would blow their plan by this research. But in the end they all realised that the escape techniques used by the people on the Internet wouldn't work.
Marcus's mansion was just too big. Too many cameras. Not enough people. They were going to have to make a plan by themselves...
And that is what they did. For the next few weeks they brainstormed every night until they had finally come up with a plan that would work. Well hopefully. They just needed one more person....

Leela walked briskly past the lab, head held high, chest pushed out. She had an air around her as if she owned the place. Chris walked up to her with a friendly smile. He had to see what she felt about Marcus and his dictator-like leadership style.Chris decided not to be blunt. He would have to ask her indirectly about her feelings towards her boss. Because if the two were working together, Leela might become very suspicious of the group's actions.
"Hey Leela!" Chris ran quickly to catch up to her
"Hey Chris! How are you?" asked Leela, her flawless teeth showing.
"Good thanks. Uh I was wondering.... How long have you been working for Marcus?"
If Leela suspected anything she didn't show it. Maybe the oblivion was an act but Chris hoped it wasn't.
"Well he offered me a job as his personal assistant in around 2012. It's 2017 now so that's about five years I guess."
Chris decided to take the initiative to dig a little deeper.
"So I assume you were greatful when he hired you. Must've been good money?"
Slightly irritated Leela answered "Yeah it was good money for a young woman who had just finished business school."
"At this Chris was confused. Was she angry at him or the fact that all of that money that went into business school was "wasted"
"So then you must really like your boss. I mean the amount money you must make must be massive!"
Subtlety was clearly not his strong point. Because Leela read straight through him
"Chris. I know what you want to ask. I have noticed your discontent towards Marcus. And now these questions! Clearly you want to see if my loyalty lies with him don't you!?" Leela asked this with a venom in her words and daggers in her eyes.
Sheepishly and nervously Chris answered.
"Yeah... sorry Leela. I just thought..."Leela cut him off with a quick and curt
"You know what. Yes! My loyalties do lie with him! I appreciate all he has done for me and I really am greatful! Unlike you should be!!"Leela stormed out of the room they were in. But Chris couldn't help feeling suspicious. Leela's eyes glossed over when she realised what Chris was doing, almost as if she was reciting a prepared speech.
Or maybe Chris refused to believe that someone so beautiful could be paired with someone so despicable.
**********
At their daily meeting Chris came early to tell his colleagues what he discovered. As he entered he took a deep breath. He sensed that someone was in the room with him. There was a slight rustling towards his left side. He quickly spun around on his heels towards the noise.
"Jean? Nick?" Chris called out (with a throat that felt like he had swallowed cotton wool) so that the person would reveal himself.
A shadowy figure emerged. But at this Chris jumped. The shadowy figure had long hair.Chris felt his heart drop with dread. It was Leela. She must've found out what was going on and now she was going to catch them red-handed plotting against Marcus....
