A Mission

* Bob's POV *

            I woke up with the sound of my alarm ringing, like always.  I put on some Adidas pants and a Gap hoodie.  Heading into the bathroom I freshened up brushing my teeth and combing my hair making sure it looked just as good as Logan's hair.  Grabbing my backpack, I shoved my homework in there along with the floor plans of city hall I had made last night.  Finishing off a bagel with some apple juice, I grabbed my bike and headed out the door around 7:30.  Riding all the way to city hall.

            When I got there, I locked my bike against a fence.  I walked into city hall with my backpack looking around for any terminators or police.  When the coast was clear, I slipped through one of those ' DO NOT ENTER ' doors running down the stairwell.  Best part was, there were no security cameras in city hall. Prime minister Kevin Jong Un himself said that there was nothing special about city hall.  Reaching the bottom of the stair well, I came to a hallway that was like a maze. 

            Taking out the floor plan I had made, I navigated my way looking for a certain door. Twisting and turning corners, I found a door that said ' Exit ' on it in bold red letters.  I looked back down at the floor plan making sure it was the right door.  Jiggling the handle the door didn't open, I figured the door would be locked.  Soo, I reached into my bag and pulled out a wire.  After fiddling around with it for a few minutes, I carefully pushed the wire into the lock quietly listening for all the clicks.  Then the door opened.  Pushing through it, I closed it after I was on the other side just in case someone else came down here.  There was another stair case that looked like it never ended.  Looking at the time it was already 7:48 on my phone.  I started to slide down the rails counting around 6 stair cases I passed.

            I finally jumped off onto a concrete floor.  There was a metal door in front of me, and it had a key pad to unlock it.  Putting on my hood, I opened my bag and put on thin plastic gloves. Swinging my bag back onto my back, I stared at the key pad wondering what the password could be.  I couldn't make any wrong attempts, otherwise there would be a chance that I can be caught.

            I thought about it for awhile before settling on what the government treasures the most. Sector ' Zi-83 ' Typing that in I waited for a few seconds.  Then there was a beep as the light turned green and there was a click coming from the metal door.  

            I pulled on the handle as it opened.  Before closing it, I looked for an emergency exit just in case there was someone coming.  I spotted a vent with the air conditioning running.  Closing the door, I turned on the lights to the small room.  Checking the floor plans again, I made sure I was in the right room.  Looking around there were like two really old chairs, and a book shelf.  I didn't touch the chairs, but I started flipping through all the books.  Most of them were just note books. My watch beeped, signaling it was 8:00 already.  I skimmed through the notes figuring out that they were research notes taken at the edge of our sector.  They didn't have much information about the outside world, they were mostly notes about water samples and animals.

            Then, at the top of the book shelf I found the work of a famous researcher Damian Richard Grayson.  Oh my god I was such a huge fan of his work. He actually traveled to outside our sector, took notes on everything he saw, and he actually came back! He even wrote a guide to the outside world! But it wasn't released to the public.  It wasn't even published, but I was holding the original written copy in my glove covered hands! Flipping through it, there were pictures notes and information about whatever he saw.  There was two other files containing loose papers and note books of notes and drawings he took, even a bunch of directions! This was way too good to be true.  Looking at my watch, it was 8:10.  I carefully put the files and written work of Damian Richard Grayson in my bag.

            Just then, I heard the door open upstairs and my heart dropped.  That was a bad thing. Opening the vent, I climbed up closing it behind me.  I quickly and quietly climbed up the vent that was made for a human hamster.  Seriously who built this shit.

          After about 20 minutes, I reached the surface.  Having a little memory of the floor plans in my head, I guided myself through the air ducts.  Kicking the panel open, I managed to get out right in the corner where I had parked my bike.  Closing the vent, I unlocked my bike and dashed away to school as fast as I can.

            I can't BELIEVE I found the sacred work of Damian Richard Grayson! Shortly after he came back from his journey, he was terminated because the government demanded him to keep his finds a secret, but he didn't cooperate with them and said that the outside world should be shared with the entire sector.  Of course, I'll be the first one from the public to look at his finds. I'm so excited.  I can't wait to tell Logan and Steve about this. Or maybe I shouldn't tell them just yet?

            I finally got to school with 5 minutes to spare.  Locking my bike, I came in front to the entrance.  The first thing I saw, a clean white car that looked brand new.  Two men in white suits leaning on it with big blasters on their sides.

            The Terminators.
