* Alberto's POV *
This is it. We're finally going to find Kevin. We'll all be together at last, but then what. All of us would finally be together, reunited with Kevin, but what would we do after that? We can't possibly go back to Sector Z-83. Bob wouldn't even think of it. What will do after we find Kevin? I was lost deep in thought as I drove across the bumpy road on the mountain. I didn't realize Logan was calling out my name until he snapped his fingers in my face.
"Sorry..I kinda zoned out. " I said smiling.
" I noticed. So what's on your mind Alberto? " Logan asked. I wanted to tell Logan, but I knew he was best friend with Bob and I didn't wanna upset him.
"Say Logan, did you ever think about what we're going to do after we find Kevin? Where will we go? How will we survive after we run out of food and water? " I asked worried.
" Honestly..I don't know myself. I've been thinking about it during our whole journey. I know Bob would never be up for going back to the sector, and if we do we'll be terminated. So what's the point? " Logan said as I nodded agreeing. I didn't know what to think. What to expect from this journey. It's absolutely crazy.
" But.." Logan started.
" I'm sure if we all just trust each other, have some faint; everything will be alright. Bad things will happen and good things will happen, no matter what happens; we'll all have each others backs. None of us would ever leave without all of us together. Just look at the mess we got ourselves into finding Kevin, bu....I think it's kind of good you know? " Logan asked.
" What do you mean it's good? " I asked glancing at Logan.
"We're all finding ourselves in this journey. Who we really are. There's no one to judge. No one to look at us like we're crazy or stupid. I think that's why we thought Bob was crazy back at our sector, because Bob doesn't care how people see him as. As long as he has his best friends, that's all that matters to him. Look at Bob now he's even crazier than before. " Logan said as we laughed.
" You know, I think your finding yourself too Logan. You're more open than you were before. Flying on the skimmer, reckless driving, your more brave and way more confident out here. " I stated looking at Logan.
"Yea...I never knew just how confident I can get. " Logan said looking out the window lost in thought.
* Logan's POV *
I looked out the window thinking about what Alberto had said. I really did all that stuff. If we were still at school, I wouldn't even dare thinking about preforming those stunts. But here I am after doing things only Bob would dream about. I think your're true self really does start to show when there's no one to judge you. I continued to look out the window when Alberto stopped the jeep.
"What's wrong? " I asked looking ahead.
" Nothing just gotta fill our gas tank. We only have one more container left of gas then I don't know what's gonna happen but hey we'll use it till it's gone. " Alberto said as he filled up the tank. I moved over to the drivers seat telling Alberto I would take over driving now. Taking turns is best.
* Steve's POV *
" AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH- "
" SHUT THE FUCK UP WE FELL LIKE 5 MINUTES AGO GET OFF ME! " Bob yelled cutting me off from my misery. I just simply stood up and dusted myself off.
" Well then. I'm sorry you didn't have a soft landing. " I said as Bob stood up stretching his back.
"Yea. I didn't. " Bob said glaring at me. It's not my fault I had to fall on his butt. It involves gravity and physics and Bob's butt was a really soft landing spot so I guess God just chose it for me cause I'm just that awesome.
