* Bob's POV *
I was fast asleep in my sleeping bag. Wrapped up like a burrito. It was warm and I was warm but then I felt my warmth seeping away as I heard the sound of a zipper. Sunlight invaded my sight, even though my eyes were closed.
"Come on, wake up! How long are you planning to sleep in? " Logan asked as he shook me like I was dead or something. I groaned and opened my eyes rolling around and stretching in my sleeping bag.
"It's like 10 in the morning. " Alberto said munching on a granola bar with some juice. I got out of my sleeping bag and headed to the jeep for a change of clothes. By the looks of it, everyone had found themselves something to wear already. Logan was wearing a pair of my sweatpants and a shirt, Alberto chose the one pair of baggy jeans I had and a shirt, and Steve looked like a hipster. I chose a pair of my baggy shorts reaching just over my knees and a typical tank top since it would get hot later throughout the day. I grabbed a granola bar and a juice box for myself before hoping out the jeep. Logan and Alberto were looking through the maps, and Steve was engaging the energy crystal back on the skimmer. Once connected, the Skimmer gave a low glow, meaning the crystal was losing power fast.
"Will it still work? " Steve asked looking at me.
"No we'll have to walk. " I said deadpanned as Steve's mouth dropped open.
"Well I'm not walking you'll have to carry me. " Steve said sassing me.
"Sure get on my back. " I said smirking with by back towards Steve.
"Oh my god no! You're gonna drop me! " Steve said protesting as Logan chuckled making me giggle too.
"Are you guys ready to go? " Alberto asked as I checked my backpack one last time.
"Yup. How bout you Stevie? " I asked nudging Steve who looked nervous.
"I'm gonna die with Bob. " Steve said laughing. I took a long look at the map listening as Alberto carefully explained it to me before putting it in my backpack. I gave my backpack to Steve who swung it on and stood by the skimmer.
"I took pictures of a few pages of the book in case I need it. " I said.
"Good, and don't leave Steve by himself Steve can get lost in his own imagination. " Logan said making me smile.
"This entire adventure feels like it came out of my imagination. " I said smiling as Logan smiled back.
"Get on the skimmer Steve. " I said poking him as he swung his leg over. I got on in front as Steve sat behind me.
"Where's the helmet?! " Steve asked looking around.
"I don't fucking know. " I said as I started the skimmer. Logan and Alberto got in the car giving me a quick thumbs up before driving off to their right. Me and Steve headed to the left.
"Is this the fastest the skimmer can go?! I seen you and Logan racing on this like maniacs before. " Steve said.
" Don't worry the time will come Steve. " I said as I continued down our narrow path. According to the map Alberto gave us we should be reaching a cave in a few minutes time. Steve was reaching his hands out to touch the rock we were driving beside.
" Whya you touching that? " I asked.
" Why can't I? " Steve asked.
"Don't cry like a baby when you get hurt. " I said.
"Stop acting like Logan! " Steve said poking my back.
"I'm not acting like Logan! " I spat back.
