We arrived at IKEA, the furniture shop. I had £150,000 to spend from government funds and money from the foster home. My stuff from my house would be delivered but Sarah said I could get anything I liked the look of to create my new room. I wanted the theme to be love hearts, not girly pink ones. White ones, vintage style hearts. We found a duck egg blue double duvet cover with cream and light blue love hearts with roses and other flowers on it. We found matching curtains. I also found: duck egg blue desk wooden desk chair which spins and has wheels, white love heart hanging decoration, blue love heart fairy lights and we got some white, wooden shelves.
Joe's POV
I loved watching Lily running everywhere and picking everything she liked the look of up. I saw some things I liked and out them in my little basket. She was wheeling around a huge trolley. My mum took me off to the side and explained something that might be very hard for Lily to cope with. Her mum was doing worse in hospital and anything else might just take her life. I loved Lily's mum like my own auntie and it would kill Lily if she died. I blocked that out of my head and went to help Lily pick up so e massive wooden shelves she had picked. She knew the room and what she wanted it to look like and I couldn't agree more with her choices.
