I grabbed a few old shoe boxes from mums 'recyle' cupboard. She never really rycycled anything because she never could get around to doing it but it came in handy. I was practically carried out of the place by the removal men. Kicking a screaming for home. That was my home. But it was gone. When we got back to Joe's I went straight to my room and took out the large shoeboxes and some colourful card and tissue paper. I decorated one box with hot pink and gold stars on it then wrote MUM'S BOX in big letters. I laid her hand mirror and the most precious pictures inside the box and carefully out the lid on and put it on the highest shelf in my room with the rest of my treasures. I wrapped dad's in dark blue with red stars and inside I put his watch and the pictures like mums and did the same so the boxes were next to each other. I laminated the best photos and carefully put them inside my white love heart picture collage frame and hung it above my bed. The centre picture was us all together last spring when dad got home. Dad's were one side and mums on the other. I had one on the bottom and my eyes shelled at the look of my hard work. Night soon came and Joe had brought me tea and we'd watched Grease, my favourite musical. He left and I put in dad's football shirt and sprayed mums perfume on it so I fell asleep in dad's clothes with mums scent.
