Chapter- 9

Blake's POV

It's been two weeks and Melanie still hasn't woken up. Her birthday is tomorrow and her parents don't know what to do. I have only had a total of 13 hours of sleep in the past two weeks. Also School is out and it's been snowing alot. It may be summer but living in Alaska it snows almost all year round.

I'm sitting next to Melanie with my head down and just thinking when I see her move a little.

"Melanie?" I question.

Melanie's POV

I feel a pounding in my head and I move onto my side.

"Melanie?" I hear somebody say, I try to open my eyes but it's hard. Then I move again and feel a sharp pain shoot through me. I screech in pain very loudly.

"Melanie it's ok I'll go get the doctor." A very familiar voice says as I gasp and scream in pain.

"Yes she woke up and she is screaming!" somebody yelled

"Alright, alright I'm coming!" somebody else yelled back.

My eyes finally opened in time to see Blake and some bald doctor run into the room. I move my head more towards the door and scream once again do to the horrible pain. The doctor started to look at all the machines I was hooked to then my mom came running into the room.

She runs to my side and I grasp my side when she touches it and she slowly backs away concern all over her face.

"Dr.Jenson what's happening?" she asked rushing over to the doctor that is now sitting at the computer.

"Well it seems that all the pain from the accident was being held back because of the coma, and it's all coming out now." he said typing out something and next thing I know Blake is sitting next to me.

"Make it stop!" I yell as loud as I can.

"We will honey, everything will be fine" my mom says calmly.

Then a nurse comes in carrying something she comes up to me and I realize it's a syringe. she gets closer to me and I kick it out of her hand and scream in pain.

Next thing I know all my older brothers and my mom are holding my arms and legs down. Then the nurse gives me the shot on my arm and I scream and move around because of the pain it caused me. Suddenly I felt tired and Instantly I was sound asleep.

I woke up to Luke saying "Come on dude you owe me."

I then opened my eyes and looked around I saw Luke, Cameron, and Blake sitting across the room talking about who knows what.

"I don't owe you anything, you moron, can't your tiny little brain prosses that?" Cameron said back to Luke. I accidently laughed and they all looked over at me in unison.

"She's awake!" Luke exclaimed "Happy Birthday!!"

Wait what my birthday isn't for like two weeks.

"It's not my birthday" I said to him

"Yes it is!" Cameron said.

"No it's in like two weeks!"

"No it's today, I promise." Cameron said.

"You have been in a coma for a while." Blake spoke up

"Wh-what happened?" I asked.

"You got hit by a car while about to enter the school, by the way schools out." Luke explained.

"W-wait a se-second...I'm gonna shift tonight??" I asked

"Yeah, that's how this thing works" Cameron said.

"Oh.My.God" I said slowly. Then I smelled something it smelled like heavin with a hint of Spice. Oh my gosh what is this smell??

Suddenly Luke says "Umm I'm gonna go get something to eat" and Cameron says "I'll go with with him" and they both rush out of the room.

I then hear growling and look up and realize it's coming from Blake. He is staring directly at me and he says "Mine" while still growling.

I then noticed that the wonderful smell was coming from him, From Blake! Omg what is happening to me?

I look away and keep my head down suddenly feeling self-conscious. Yet I'm holding back the urge to kiss him at this moment. I feel him staring at me and I look up but I don't see him then I feel a hand on my shoulder. I look over and his face is only inches away from mine.

He smiled then said "Would it be weird if I kissed you right now?"

"Umm..uh...I don't know." I said slowly with hesitation.

"I think...I wanna kiss you"

"Erm...ok" I said then suddenly I felt his lips against mine. He kissed me then I kissed him back.

I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer. When he pulled away his smile was so bright I thought my heart was going to melt in my chest.

We just stared at each other for about two minutes then Kaleb walked in and growled.

We instantly moved away from each other.

"What the hell was that??" Kaleb yelled

"Nothing!" I said quickly and Blake stood up and left the room.

"That sure the hell wasn't nothing!" Kaleb snapped

"Just drop it Kaleb!" I snapped back

"Why should I??"

"Because he is..." My voice trailed off.

"Oh please don't tell me he's your mate!" he yelled

"I can't do that..."

"Oh shit" He said and turned and left the room muttering under his breath.

After a few minutes Luke and Cameron came into the room.

"I heard Blake is your mate" Cameron said.

"Erm..Uh..sorta.kinda.yeah..."

"Awe look she's blushing!" Luke yelled

"Shut up!"

"Well ok mom said to bring you these they are letting you go home in a half hour." Luke said handing me some clothes.

"Ok, now get out."

"Ok somebody's moody" Cameron said

"Just get out" I said and they turned around and walked out of the room. I got up and shut the door and locked it.

I looked at the clothes they had given me. It was just a pair of skinny jeans, a simple plain purple shirt, with some black converse.

After I got dressed I looked in the mirror in the bathroom. My hair looked horrible, it was frizzy, and tangled, it was a total mess. I ran my fingers through it and wet it down so I wouldn't look so bad.

I then opened up the door and walked down the hall. I found the waiting room and saw My mom, Blake, all my brothers, and Blake's parents.
