Chapter two : Try a little surprise

3 Days later ...

"Goodmornin' Chicago !!! it's 7 AM , don't be lazy, wake up and say thank you for this new day starting ...".Ugh, the radio alarm went on , it's too early , another ten minutes and i'll wake up for sure ...

"Mel !!!! what are you doing ? ".Someone shouted, who the hell dared to scream that way so early ?

"Amelia Scott , what the hell are you still doing in bed now ?" ,  that was Caleb for sure , crazy enough to dare wake me up . Caleb is my older brother , we live together since mom got arrested he is 25 and has a nice fiancee called Vanessa , she's kind and cool, always helping me to convince caleb to let me go out for some parties , not that i was the a great fan of parties but i liked going for some from time to time but he didn't like it and i personnally didn't blame him with our familial history we had to be cautious with everything that can lead to some troubles .

"...Waking up chicago , i wish to all of our auditors a  happy day, may it be positive and full of good surprises , it's a quarter to 8 ... Now let's get this started with some music . Here's safe and sound with capital cities on your favorite radio station : atlantic radio !!

I started singing along and checking my phone when i suddenly realised there was still fifteen minutes for my first period in high school to start , if i get late i'm really not gonna get away with it , the principal deksmoore already hated me for always coming late too many times and here i am late again , I grabbed some kind of sweaters and wore blues jeans , i was really not the sexy type of girl always wearing nice girly or fashion clothes , not at all , actually i was like every normal girl with curves and some belly also i had auburn hair , the only thing that was making me kind of special were my eyes , they were gray , i don't know who in my family got gray eyes other than caleb and I . Wait , Caleb !! i needed him to take me to school , he's my only chance i won't get late...for the fourth time this week . I quickly took my bag and wore my converse brushed my hair and teeth and went downstairs to search for Caleb, when i found him he was getting ready picking up his phone and bag ," Please , i need you to take me to school " i said

" nope , i won't i called you so many times but you didn't wake up it's all your fault , and also i have an important meeting right when i'll get to the office " , he declared

" Oh come on please i need you i'm already late , and whenever i get there Mr.deksmoore says something about you not responsible enough , i was lying , the principal never said anything about him , he just blamed me but i needed that ride , i won't get there late again, Cassie's the one who takes me to school usually but lately her car broke down and she had to take the bus , that's why i started arriving late at school .

" fine , i'll take you but i want you to be in the car in about five seconds ", and he started counting , i got there in time and he turned on the car , i checked my phone again and noticed that i still had 5 minutes , i actually was breaking my own record in wearing brushing and washing . However , the school was in sight, when i still had less than three minutes left , i had to get in that damn classroom in time , my honor was in game , when caleb finally dropped me there , i quickly thanked him, wished him a good day , and started running : i ran until i was out of breath and then i saw on the watch , one minute left , i had to make it , the classroom was in the second floor , i turned to the right after i went up the stairs , the classroom was in sight , i started to lower my speed when i realised i couldn't and started sliding until i hit something hard , i probably zoned out for few seconds because i started watching stars and fireflies above my head , " i'm sorry " a voice said , " are you okay ,do you need to go to the infirmary ?" , well , that was a sweet voice , i thought it was strangely familiar . but then the bell rang and i've been brought back to reality , that guy was already heading to another classsroom when i went to mine . and then began two hours of biology ...

 10:00 AM

i was heading to the cafeteria to buy something to eat when cassie came to me , " Mornin' , have you heard about that new guy ? everyone says he's so damn cute and that he's from spain or may be mexico , anyway he's latino , i haven't seen him yet but you know i will obviously look for him " , she said , cassie was my long time friend , we're always stuck together , even when she moved out to another neighborhood, we weren't really alike , she was always aware of her clothing , wearing dresses and skirts , i hadn't had a dress or  a skirt since my childhood , " no , i didn't , but if i do i'll give a full report about his morphology , inspector " ,

 And once again the bell rang which meant it was time to study another two hours of some kind of subject i haven't learn my schedule yet , may be it was english or it might be physics , anyway Cassie had the same class as me so we headed to the classroom again , she sat next to her boyfriend  Steven and i sat alone at the back , it was time to learn history , i wasn't even close to guess, i'm such a mess , some students started entering the classroom when i saw a familiar face . NO WAY , i can't believe it's him , the latino ? to my surprise in front of me was that guy from chatroullette , Esteban .
