Epilogue

The restaurant was buzzing with activity, it's always very full at this time of the day, i'm supposed to be taking the clients' orders, participating to the family business every day, after school. I write up one couple's order and take it to the counter where Caleb is standing, giving directions to the staff and conversing with Vanessa about the planned changes to the menu. I glance at Esteban who's busy taking orders on the phone, he grins when he catches me looking.

After the arrests, things have been hectic, and that is the greatest understatement. the case was transfered to court rather rapidly, Angela and Tyler acted as witnesses in court, and helped take down what will be called in the news as the biggest drug bust of the decade. They were also sentenced to pass few years in jail, Tyler, five years and mum ten years, whereas Esteban's father had taken up sixteen years, due to his collaboration with the police. After these events, we were faced with the little problem of where to live ? where Esteban would go ? But fortunately, Caleb didn't hesitate to anounce we would be living together again and Esteban with us.

Obviously we used the money to buy a brand new house, far from our old neighbourhood, closer to our high school and most of all bigger, big enough for four of us, since Vanessa joined in, after Caleb and her's wedding. The ceremony was stunningly amazing, i was glad for them both, finally getting the happiness they visibly deserved.

Caleb continued going to work for approximately two months after the wedding. But thanks to our urging, he decided to quit his work and start his own restaurant, well, our restaurant like he says. Things were finally falling into place. The puzzle was finished, and the picture was near perfect. 

It soon became perfect though when Laken and Cassie got together.
