Asriels p.o.v

I watched as mom and dad scurry to the humans help, and I felt rather useless being only able to watch. She looked so hurt, she must have taken quite a fall. All those purple marks on her, the way she moved while walking, she needed help badly.
I wish I'd arrive to her assistance sooner; when we got back home she looked so tired, poor thing much have tried a dozen times to help herself up.

Mom and Dad finally grew quiet, and they slowly but surely left the room, closing my door quietly.
I was going to peak in, but mom and dad stopped me.

"Asriel, the human has fallen asleep and we've done we can.. she looks very hurt.. she is very hurt.."

I could tell Mom was very concerned about her current condition, and something tells me she might have hurted herself more than I could physically see.

"All we ask of you son, is to let the human sleep. She is very weak and tired. Please try to disturb her ok?"

I nodded solemly for my dad, and trailed off outside.
I was both excited and worried about the humans health.
I hope she will be ok.. she looked so scared..

I begin to play with the leaf's, and that's when I really got thinking..

'why did she fall..? Wasn't she ever told that it's dangerous to climb the mountain..? She looked so sad.. maybe she ran away.. oh I hope nobody ever hurt her.'

I grew bored very quickly, as questions still surrounded my thoughts.

'...you know.. Chara is rather a nice name..'

I thought back to when I first saw her, and I remembered immediately her big red eyes. They are very paculier..
But nonetheless very unique.

'i hope we become best friends, I can show and do everything with her! I'll finally have someone other than mom and dad to talk too!'

I ran around in excitement, but was cut off when dad called me inside. I ran inside and was called to the living room greeted with serious and concerned expressions..

Uh oh...

"Asriel, it was very nice of you to take it upon yourself to help this poor child.. but me and your father specifically told you not to go through the puzzles! It's dangerous, what if you got hurt..?"

"Tori dear, I understand your concern for the puzzles.. but right now we have a bigger manner at hand, he's fine as you can see."

Mom sighed, and sat down.

"I know Gorey.. a lots on my mind and I'm having trouble determining which matters are more important to address.."

Dad kissed mom on the forehead and assured her it's going to be ok.

"Son, we need to discuss on what may happen to the humans future. We plan on giving her the best of care and treatment to help mend her wounds. But we've also dicussed something else.."

"Your father and I want to make the human as happy as possible. If we manage to Patch her up nice and well.. we wanted to provide her a home... We know it is impossible for her to return to her former home, but we want her to feel welcomed and loved here.."

"Son.. if all is well and the human agrees with terms herself.. would you like someone else living in the house with us..?"

I couldn't help but put a big smile across my face and answer almost immediately.
