Behind What Was Seen (Undertale Fanfiction)

No one can wake up now..

Asriel began to panic and freak out. He was so caught up in his fear and worry, Charas cries to calm down were blocked. "AZZY! YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO ME AND CALM DOWN!!"

Asriel paced back and forth mumbling things to himself, almost tripping trying to adjust to his new clothes.
"I HAVS HORNS!! IM SUPER TALL!! CHARA I AM FREAKING OUT, WHAT IS GOING ON?!"

"I see that your freaking out!! But you need to listen to m-"

"CHARA! DO YOU SEE HOW I LOOK?! I LOOK LIKE.. DAD!! I I..!"
Asriel mortified slid down the wall and sat down..
"This.. This is us.. we are... I am.." tears began to pour down his face, when a hand held him him for comfort.

"Asriel.. will you listen to me now..?"

Asriel blinked and saw saw Charas red silhouette in front of him, holding a hand to his wet face. "I'm.. scared Chara.. what just happened..?" He sobbed.
Chara sat down beside him, putting an arm around him comforting him. "Shh.. it's going to be ok... You're ok.. I'm ok.. it will be all alright.." she whispered gently to him.

"What.. what happens now..?" Asriel stuttered. Chara thought for a moment. She stood up, looking serious and so sure. "..Chara..?"

He felt odd, he felt like he was standing up, when he was clearly was sitting down. "Chara.. do you-"

She turned to him with a glad smile full of excitement. "Asriel! We can do it! We can-" she knelt down to Asriel with assurance resilience. "We can save the monsters now! We can set them free!" Asriels eyes widened in surprise. "Wait.. what?!"

"Look at us! We can do it, we can be everyone's heros! All the monsters will finally get what they deserve!" Chara exclaimed happily. Asriel stood up unsure what to say.
He and Chara both shared the same motions whilest looking at their new magical form.

"Chara.. can we really do it..?" He asked both scared and excited. Chara grabbed his shoulders in excitement, "Yes Asriel! We can!"
She picked him up with ease and spun him around. There was laughter, and joy filled both their hearts.

"Then let's save everyone! Let's set them free together!" Asriel declared. Chara smile only grew more, as she hugged him tightly.

The children both shared vision when their new form turned to charas lifeless body, and carried it with them. They slipped past Toriel and Asgore, whom they didn't know weren't at home, and entered the throne room.

Asriel took his gaze from Theo view and looked at Chara, who was focused on what lied ahead. "Chara..?"
Asriel asked quietly. "Hmm? What is it Azzy..?" Chara replied not taking her sight off on what remained ahead. "Doesn't this feel weird..? I feel in control.. but I also feel you in control.. and why did we.." Asriel swallowed looking up at charas lifeless body.
"..why did we take your corpse..?" He asked shaken. Their majestic self, stopped at the wall of the barrier, it's powerful self with all its might was staring into the shared soul of the two children.

Chara turned to Asriel, and answered; "Asriel, we share a soul. We are one. I know it doesn't make sense.. but I am you, and you are me.. that's how come we share memories or past feelings.. it's how we are able to walk around in our new self... isn't it amazing..?" Chara asked hopeful.
