Robbie bounded out of the cafeteria in hopes of making me feel better about what happened between me and Grace at lunch. But I knew that he wouldn't be able to help me. I had to make sure that this stayed a secret to protect my family from falling apart.

She didn't get it. I didn't expect her to, either. She had no way of knowing that my dad is a fucking maniac and that he hurts me an my sister regularly.

Maybe it was better that way, where no one knew. So I'm not sure why it bothered me so much when someone assumed that I didn't have any problems. Because although I have a lot of issues at home, I also have lots of great things in my life that make me incredibly happy. Like my sister, my friends, music, touring, and my fans. I wouldn't trade these things for the world.

"Shawn!" Robbie called as he yanked my shoulder back, giving me no other choice but to face him. I avoided eye contact as he began speaking, "Is everything okay?"

"I don't want to talk about it," I say, brushing him off. Hopefully, he'd be understanding about me not wanting to speak of this.

"Okay, man. I just want to let you know that I'm here for you and that you never have to be alone, okay? I'm here to listen," he says. I appreciated it a lot, I appreciated him not pushing me into explaining anything and giving me space.

I was eventually able to pull myself together and enter the cafeteria again with Robbie. The two of us walked past where Morgan and Grace were seated. I began to felt bad when I realized how upset Grace looked. Her and Morgan were totally silent, Grace had her head rested low.

Robbie and I were able to get seats at my old table. I missed my old friends a lot, for I haven't been talking them too much lately since I made new friends. We plopped into the seat and were instantly engaged in conversation with the other guys, and some of their girlfriends.

As much better I felt, my eyes wandered over to where the girl sat, her head in her hands, her eyes occasionally poking out with a regretful look in them.

"So Shawn," Robbie grinned, "do you like her?"

I frowned. I've only known her for over the coarse of three days and she's already hit a weak spot on me. Although I'd like to get to know her more, I didn't know her well enough to like her like that. "No," I spoke firmly.

"Oh," he says quietly. I nodded awkwardly. Robbie then jumped into the conversation the boys were having at the other end of the table. I ended up joining in a few seconds later once my head was cleared.

Aaron began piping into our conversation. I liked being around him, he always knew how to make someone laugh. By the time the period was over, my face was beat red from laughing so much.

When the laughter died, my stupid eyes wandered over to the same lunch table where I'd been seated earlier in the period. There was now talking going on, but an extra person seated with the two of them.

She seemed to be a lot happier once he sat down, and I was happy that she felt better. I looked away, when Robbie nudged my side when he noticed me looking over to her.

(I AM SO SORRY I WROTE THIS WHEN I WAS LIKE 10. ITS DUMB IK)

Aaron began cracking stupid pick-up lines, hoping to get the laughing back up at the table, "Are you Google? Because you have everything I'm searching for!" He ended up succeeding when he added a wing to the end, and let me tell you; Aaron cannot wink.

"Are you a beaver? 'Cause dam!" Robbie managed to say between his laughter.

The table erupted in more fits of laughter.

"If you were a fruit, you'd be a fineapple," I said. More laughter.

"Are you a chicken farmer? Cause you really know how yo raise cocks!" Robbie exclaimed.

"Too far," I say, pretending to be disgusted. Everyone agreed with me, but continued
to laugh regardless.

"Okay, so can you imagine if a hot girl sneezed and instead of saying 'God Bless you,' you said, 'I would say God Bless you, but it seems he already did!'" Bryce managed.

"Have you been eating Cocoa Puffs because I'm going cookoo for you!"

I was happy that the period went from being emotional and upset to laughing so hard that it hurt.
