Two weeks later, and I was developing a strong relationship with Shawn. Although we were good friends before, we were beginning to become more comfortable around each other. I swear, there was not a moment where we weren't either together, or texting.

I was really enjoying having someone to hang out with, because Morgan is typically with Robbie. I mean, can you blame her? It's not like she completely ignores my existence. We occasionally go shopping or plan a lunch at Chipotle together, but when you're in a relationship it can be pretty time consuming. Besides Morgan, Robbie, and Shawn I didn't really have many friends anyways.

Since Jake was no longer in my life, I was thankful that I had someone there to support me through everything, no matter how petty. I never expected that me and Shawn would be as close as we are right now.

At the event he ended up taking me to a few weeks before, I had the time of my life. Getting to meet all of his friends was so much fun, especially since they were all extremely attractive. They knew I was nervous, and made me feel incredibly welcome. However, my favorite part of the entire night would have to be hearing Shawn sing. The whole crowd was silent, staring at him in awe as he played his guitar. Gosh, I get butterflies just thinking about it.

Tonight, Shawn would be coming over for a movie night. We've been having a lot of these over the past two weeks, and they never got boring. They would typically be at my house, because Shawn never seemed to invite me over. Although I was curious, I knew better than to bring up something that would cause us to argue with each other.

I stood in front of the microwave, opening the door and sticking the package of microwaveable popcorn inside. I closed it, and pressed the popcorn button on the microwave. As I waited for it to be done, I hummed to myself and searched the fridge for something for us to drink.

Having no luck finding anything, I was able to discover packets of hot chocolate in the pantry. I knew from earlier in our friendship that Shawn loved hot chocolate. The microwave began beeping, and I took out a large white bowl and poured the hot, buttery content into it.

I get two of my favorite winter mugs out of the kitchen cabinet, and pour some milk into them. I know what you're thinking already, "why are you using milk??" It tastes so much more flavorful when you use milk, and I enjoyed it much more that way. I heated up both mugs until they were hot, and stirred the mixed into them. I get out some jumbo marshmallows and place them in the drinks, smiling as I thought about how much fun this was going to be.

The doorbell rings, and I rush to open the door. Unfortunately, Ryan gets there first, because for some reason he was extremely fond of Shawn. He swings the door open exclaiming, "Shawn! My man, how you doing?"

The two bro hug, and I huff in annoyance. Not only was I getting closer to Shawn, but the more time that he spent here, Ryan got closer to him as well.  "Hey! I'm good, how are you?" Shawn asks politely.

"I'm doing good." he says, an awkward silence falling over us. "Well, have fun. I'll be in the office if you two need me. Don't do anything inappropriate," he warns, waving and heading in the opposite direction.

"I think you're more of Ryan's friend than mine," I joke, pouting and crossing my arms over my chest.

Shawn rolls his eyes."Hello to you too," he says, pulling me in for a hug. We stay there for a few moments, and I enjoy it because quite frankly Shawn smells really fucking good.

I break away, leading him into the living room. "Sit there," I tell him, as I leave to go get the food from the kitchen. I manage to carry everything in without breaking anything, even though my hands were full.

"Here," I giggle, handing him a mug with Frosty the Snowman printed on it. He makes fun of me for the design on it, but drinks it anyway.

"So what did you want to watch?" I ask, unfolding a blanket and scattering it across Shawn's lap.

He shrugged as he got comfortably under the blanket we were sharing, "Whatever you want, I'm okay with whatever."

"Well Shawn," I snicker, "You're the guest. That basically means you have to pick." I remember from when I was younger and would go over my friends houses for play dates, that this comment was always made in deciding what to do.

Shawn rolls his eyes. "What is this, second grade?" he groans, as he taps his chin. "How about......," he begins, tapping his chin as he ponders over movies in his head, "High School Musical!"

I raise my eyebrow, looking at him strangely. "You like that movie?" I ask in disbelief. This was a childhood favorite of mine, but I didn't realize that someone like Shawn would be into movies like this.

"Like? Honey, I love it," he corrects me. I laugh to myself and rent the movie. I held the bowl of popcorn on my lap and nuzzled my head into Shawn's chest.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulder. On our movie nights, we'd dress comfortably. Shawn was wearing a black Nike hoodie and red and black flannel pants. His hair was a lot messier than it normally was, and it was driving me absolutely insane. Over these past two weeks, I had become more and more attracted to Shawn. I went from simply thinking he was cute to appreciating all of his different features.

In the span of two weeks, we'd also become a lot more touchy with each other. A lot of the times, he'd like to have his arm around me. I wasn't sure why, but surely I didn't mind. He'd also hug me a lot more, and we ended up cuddling on my couch just about every time he came over.

I mostly thought of this as friendly contact, but I seemed to enjoy whenever he does it.

I was really surprised in the part of the movie where Troy and Gabriella sing together on stage, Shawn began singing to me as well. He knew all of the words of the song, which impressed me.

Since I had seen the movie enough times to also know the words, I sang back to him. We were both laughing, probably at the fact that I cannot sing to save my life. At the end of the song, he smiled at me before lowering his head and kissing my forehead.

I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks and my stomach was having a fucking circus. Due to my lack of experience, I wasn't really sure what to do next.

So I reached my hand into the popcorn bowl, and removed a few pieces of popcorn, throwing them in Shawn's direction, laughing to myself.
